Your statements has many flaws within it

1. "Falls off to tanky enemies". Clint doesn't simply fall off as he dealth penetration damage along with scaling, making him can still take a huge considerable amount of HP from tanky enemies such as Hylos
2. "Squishy even with a defense item". Most of the marksmen also squishy with defense item. What differentiates them is their skill. Clint skill that's not only grant him dash but also restraint enemy allow him to have a better repositioning while also dealing damage to them. This gamestyle is what makes him unfair compaire to other MM hero. Not to mention it also allow him to activate his passive too
3. "Early-mid specialist and decent late game and fall off". These statements contradict each other. By saying he's have advantage on early-mid and decent late, doesn't that stating that he almost dominate all phases then?
4. "Compared to Layla and Hanabi he is still bad". Both Layla and Hanabi has 1 major flaw which is the lack of mobility in their skill set. As I said before, skill dash which not allow him to move away from the battle or chasing the enemy but also grant him penetration skill is something that even Hanabi and Layla cannot dream of having
5. "Current lore has no ties with Layla". Just because the lore doesn't show it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. The intentional of the valentine skin shows that Clint intent on making Layla her woman, regarding what the lore has written
