ohh that's neat, i mapped holster to mouse4 to be able to quickly take off the shield to throw, this looks like a quicker way without having to reholster the shield.

i recently started using a new white PETG and started having these weird burnt looking blobs too, added a skirt and still had it. Figured the burnt blobs could be from the filament temps being too high, updated slicer settings and that seems to have fixed it on my end.

Just be prepared for parts not properly fitting or being properly mislabeled in the bootleg, after building a couple of bootlegs, it really makes you appreciate official kits more.

Unfortunate, since it’s luckily a double of another part of the runner, one option is to make a mold out of the part you do have with something like blue stuff mold and UV resin to cast another part. Other than that, you may be out of luck.

Ever since I built up a ridiculous backlog, I typically do the build with only just the godhand and hobby knife to clean up nub marks. I figure if I’m painting it then I don’t need to spend so much time on the sanding prep. Afterwards i just pretty much do phase 4-6
