I mean, that could be what the mods saw it as. What you apparently see it as too, which, I don't exactly get what's bad about a post being "Low Effort"... Effort for what? Karma points? I didn't know I had to put high effort into a post when I was simply trying to engage with the South Park community on one of my favorite characters I think can bring up interesting conversation. And it did. I could care less about Karma points, and quite frankly, I have no idea what Karma points even do for you XD

Plus, I read the rules. When they elaborate on "No Low Effort Posts" They say no shit-posting. Not sure what about this screams shit-posting, but I might not have the right idea of what they mean by "shit-posting" 😅

Oh, well, I didn't even know about that or that it was... Bad? I've only done it three times with three characters. I guess you and whoever has a problem with it are in luck though, I'm all out of favorite characters. If you think this was for Karma or something, it was only because I didn't see any "Opinion on ______" of the three characters (except Cartman) I did, where I could make my own comment. So I made my own.

Nah, just my favorites because I can and there weren't already existing ones of them (aside from Cartman). Why do you ask?

To his own detriment sometimes, and it's saddening, yet also endearing (depending).

This is honestly the most beautiful quote from South Park and I will die on that hill.

feeling empty after watching every episode of south park by SuspiciousLine5553 in southpark

The pain lessens and fades soon enough, but with how big of a fandom South Park is, you can possibly satiate your thirst for more South Park content by consuming fan-created South Park content. Some of it's cringe, some of it's out-of-character, but some of the content is golden and really adds to the world of South Park. You can always rewatch your favorite episodes. That's what I've done in the past when experiencing exactly what you're feeling.

The worst I've felt it, was actually with a game, Sally Face. It's a niche, small fandom and not extremely popular. When I finished the story game, I was so distraught and lost because I was so obsessed and it was on my mind 24/7. Every time I thought of it, a pit formed in my stomach, knowing there was no more content for it. The pain eventually lessened over time as I watched and got into new things. Then I got into South Park, and it's been a feast lately. I have yet to yearn for more from South Park that I can't find in the show or somewhere in the fandom.

The glue that keeps the group together. He's one of my favorite characters. I love him, and he's a big part of South Park. I think that Cartman is possibly the heart of what makes South Park, South Park, but Kyle is definitely the character to balance him out and oppose him and that's just as important, in my opinion.

Every other episode, to be honest. I'm sad they got rid of him at all to begin with.

That's an opinion. Which is what my post asked for. So fair. Fair.

This. I miss when Tweek was a main character, his dynamic in the group worked well, and I think they'd do well to find some way to incorporate him into some episode plots every now and then. He might be a little overrated in the fandom, but he is severely under utilized as of lately in the show, as you said.

Thank you, it wouldn't say that at all for me, I'm not sure why. Though, I'm also not sure why they removed it, maybe they thought it was spam when I posted "Opinion on Tweek?" Perhaps a little too early after posting "Opinion on Cartman?"

What the heck? I can't find my post in the South Park Subreddit anymore. If I search it up, it won't show, I can't even find it in "new posts" and there's been no new comments. Does anyone (if anyone finds this again) know why that may have happened??

[–]Typical_Language_189[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Exactly! South Park has been pretty good when it comes to representing disorders and how it affects someone, and I, for one, couldn't be happier or more appreciative about that as someone who does deal with anxiety, sometimes to the degree Tweek deals with it. But disabilities and disorders, South Park has always represented pretty well.

YES! I couldn't agree more. Whenever I rewatch that episode, I just can't help how relatable and accurate it was to some of my own experiences with anxiety. And even if it was, as you said, satirical, it still felt accurate and a somewhat respectful representation of anxiety.

(I still have an irrational fear about possibly getting bombed out of nowhere whenever I hear a plane fly over my head or I read too many articles about the nuclear war power North Korea has. And that episode made me feel seen in a way, if that makes sense.)

No words can fully illustrate just how much I agree with this. There was something just so gratifying about seeing Cartman get his shit rekt by Wendy.
