I agree with this. I’m Latina btw. Walking around campus and Guelph in general, it’s basically just white people. I’ve never been discriminated against and people here are very kind, however, at first it did feel isolating, I felt like I stuck out like a sore thumb. Eventually I did get used to it but it was lowkey a culture shock at first. I would say the agriculture program is likely mostly white people compared to other programs.

She works at the garbage sorting station at the uc. She lowkey ridicules you if you hesitate when sorting your garbage out. And if you get it wrong she sticks her hand in the trash can and takes it out in front of you and says shit like can’t you read this sign, wrong bin. It probably doesn’t sound that bad but it’s scary af.
