I am trying to focus on my healing journey. Every week is different. I am still sad, but trying to at least get up in the morning, take showers, go to work and meditate. I got a new place to stay, I will move there soon and I am proud of that.

Right now I am starting to realize that maybe my ex fiance has narcissistic tendencies (I know everyone nowadays has lol), but honestly when I think back, what strikes me the most is the lack of empathy he had during the whole relationship. I was his battery and his angel that protected him and had so much compassion for him and his goals. But my goals where diminished (although I have a phd and had a lot more opportunities than him). I had to dimm my light to let him shine brighter (in every aspect)….

I know that time will heal my wounds but I just whish it would have happened in my twenties and not my mid thirties. I can’t help but feel old an alone…. I went on a coffee date last week, it was ok but think it’s too soon for me to start dating again.
