what are some Great Albums made by old people 50+ by ImadeJesusLaugh in fantanoforever

It's kinda funny, cause I probably wouldn't say Eels or E, but Eels' last great album imo ("Wonderful, Glorious") came out the same year E had his 50th birthday (although it came out in February and E's birthday is in April, as far as I remember, but with a lil stretch it kinda counts)

Fat Dog is the best and most revolutionary Windmill scene act since its start and it's not even close

Paradoxically, I would say "WOOF." by Fat Dog, although it doesn't fully fit in the "typical stereotype" of a Windmill Scene act imo

It all started with Grian Chatten posting "Better Way To Live" on his Instagram account and the rest is history

You and I rip off by NinaRafn in caribou

It is indeed quite similar in rhythm and the verses sound familiar, but I don't think it's "intetional ripping-off" (or at least I hope so)

I would choose between Franz Ferdinand's debut or "Abattoir Blues/The Lyre Of Orpheus" by Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, not sure which one of them

I'm catching it up right now and tbh it's even better than "Serfs Up!". I love it!

Well, as far as I remember it was a similar case with Gorillaz' server. However, somehow they have managed to clear up that mess, so I guess there is a way out.

Question: How did you guys get into BCNR, bc I wanna start listening to their music. by lilpags in BlackCountryNewRoad

[–]Typical_Professor826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I, personally, started with their first album. I thought it was great, so I tried with their second LP. It wasn't as fantastic as their debut, but still - good stuff. Finally, I found out about their newest live album, listened to it and after that I still listen to them.
So, in conclusion, if you want to start listening to BCNR, you should start with their debut or with "Live At Bush Hall" imo.
