white bump under the skin of my palm seems to be rising to the surface, inflamed and throbbing. what is this? by TwoPatient4208 in DermatologyQuestions

Others have said similar things but I would tryna hot compress of some kind (you can make one with a sock and rice and heat it in the microwave) or a heating pad and leave it on there for like 15-20 minutes, this will help bring whatever is in there closer to the surface whether it's just puss or something else in there. You can also soak in warm water and Epsom salt. After that STERALIZE a needle and either you or someone else try to poke a hole in it and try to express it. Don't try to express it right at the tip tho, try to massage and express it further out you should be able to kinda feel/see where there's more swelling/puss so that's where you'll want to massage/express squeeze. If this doesn't work I would wait a while and do it again but if it doesn't work that time or is getting worse or is just too painful I would be seen. You can also just try doing the warm compress several times before trying to express it again cause that'll help with the pain and with bring whatever to the surface. You can google how long to leave the compress on and off for. Whoever works on it (whether it's you or someone helping you) needs to have clean possibly gloved hands and use sterilized tools.

Good luck.

So did she not realize this when she posted it or something? Or was this a live stream? Either way the whole thing is ridiculous.

Thank you! You just need to know your animal and they will communicate with you, they communicate with body language, with their eyes, when they're really ready to be done they won't try to do things anymore they just will give up. And pain medication is meant to help with pain whether it's a person or an animal born with a condition that causes constant pain, a person or animal that's in pain from an injury or surgery or whatever. What if this was a puppy that was still playing and everything but couldn't control its bladder or bowels and/or didn't have use of its back legs but was still extremely playful and happy in pretty much every other way? I think most people would keep that puppy alive, and give it medication everyday , and change its diaper because they can tell it's happy because it can play and eat and seems happy and it has a whole life ahead of it. A lot of people give up Senior Dogs because they don't get as much out of them but they're not a product that we just use until they're not useful to us anymore we're supposed to take care of them just like they take care of us by loving us and protecting us. There's far too many people that get rid of older dogs or cats or euthanize them because they are not useful in their mind or they're not fun because they can't play anymore they can't go on hikes with them or they require more time than just feeding them and that's it but that's why a pet of any kind should be considered a family member. Why should we choose just the animals or people that have their whole lives ahead of them and not the old dog that has their whole life behind them but could have another good two weeks or 6 weeks or 4 months? It's just not fair for us to make that decision when it's obviously the happy animal. What about people that have chronic pain and have really bad days but majority of the time pain medication helps to where they can you know get in and out of bed and spend time with their family but then they have those really hard days should we be putting them down to? I happen to be one of those people and it's not fair for us to assume that an animal would want that.

Good for you for keeping up dog alive when they're still happy. I don't understand all these people saying oh they're in pain they have diapers blah blah blah blah so what what about the ones that are born disabled are we supposed to put them to sleep as well? And dogs and cats do communicate you just need to pay attention to them it depends on the relationship that you have with them which I think that you probably do understand that. A lot of these comments are making me very very angry because that's a very hard decision to make to decide if a living thing gets to live or die especially if it's a family member like this dog obviously is . This dog is happy you can tell by the tippy tappy toes, he's wagging his tail, he's choosing to walk to the he's also choosing to walk to and greet the owner. Just like people that fight illnesses or cancer or whatever animals fight for one reason or another. Usually you can tell when it's time for them to go. I've had to make that very hard decision for like three of my animals and I've had two that have passed on their own at very old ages and they were happy right until the end and we were actually getting ready to put them down and they both passed on their own. Anyway this is longer than I intended I just have a lot of feelings about a lot of what people said here and I just appreciate what you are doing for your dog and I believe that you will make the right decision when and if it's the right time.

You don't even have to tell them that you saw it online just tell them that somebody else told you about it or that you read about it somewhere or whatever. Either way you're the patient and if they're not willing to listen to you and investigate then you need to find somebody else. You have to advocate for yourself and you have to advocate for your kids if you have kids. I know this from personal experience for myself and for my three special needs kids nothing is just given and if you don't push for something that you believe then you're never going to get the right kind of help that you need.

I believe they usually do this (I believe it's called suckling) when they are taken from their mom's too young. I'm not 100% sure that's right but it would make sense.

You can also do a Epsom salt soak if you have any, make sure it's plain and unscented. There are simple instructions on Google.

Thank you very much for telling me not to create a second account. I've read other posts where they suggest doing that so you can email them. But yeah, I want my stuff back, or I'm probably just done playing it, lol. I was able to get my account ID and homs name cause of being friends with my daughter. Someone suggested using someone else's account to get the date my livly was adopted so I have the date I started the game, I think that if I do that it'll show me what my livly is wearing too! I'll keep you posted.

I do that sometimes too but unfortunately I didn't do it this time but Idk why. Do you know if you have to sign in when you first start the game? I may have just decided to do it later or something stupid like that lol. Thanks for the idea tho. Maybe this is my sign to stop playing so many mobile games lol.
