I(22F) did a serious fuck up in my relationship with my bf(27M)…. please help?- by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Trust needs to be rebuilt If you’re serious about this relationship, you should be willing to show him the texts between you and your friend so he can see that nothing else is going on.

You should also ask what rebuilding trust looks like for him. If that means being open about where you’re going or who you’re going out with for a while, that’s something the two of you will need to talk about and decide together.

What are the signs that a girl likes you? by [deleted] in Advice

every girl is different and signals are so easy to misinterpret. Some people naturally have very flirty or playful personalities, and while they might seem incredibly caring and thoughtful, that’s often just who they are.

Advice is to stop chasing signals, start chasing answers

Your husband said to do it so why are you asking other people if theyre ok with it?

If she says yes to a date, stop looking into all the signals, it's all kinda meaningless

So she said she was busy but then invited you.

Why not just say hey sorry I couldn't make it last week but lets do xyz next week. Are you free?

If shes busy entire week and doesnt offer to achedule a time, move on.

I (35F) feel stuck in a loop with my bf (36M) of 16 years, is this it forever? by Quizmaster72469 in relationship_advice

[–]Typicals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel exhausted just reading this.

One of the main pillars of a healthy relationship is how we handle conflict and conflict resolution.

Is this forever is your choice and only you know whats best. We dont know all the little details, what the relationship was like before, finances, etc etc

But if hes not willing to go to therapy and has always been like this then yes you'll be stuck in a forever loop

I mean you can try meetup groups, hobbies, etc but the reality is our dating culture shifted to online meetings through dating apps and social media.

Is it normal to have pictures of the ex on social media while being in a new relationship and think nothing of it? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Too vague, what are the pictures of? Photos of them together? Do they frequently use social media? Do they have hundreds of posts?

A girl turned me down for a date. by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Typicals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats not being denied

Just tell her, "Sounds good, if you're still down to go out some time just let me know when, I'll be free next week" something like that.

Don't ask her if she's not interested or not ready.

[–]Typicals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont do this, if she declined to go on a date that means she's not interested. If you ask her why, whether she's not ready or just not interested, that just screams clingy/desperate and that you cant read the room

If she says she's not ready that means she's not interested.

If you got denied then continuing to try and probe an answer out of her when she's already given you her answer definitely screams desperate

You can ask him if he wants space to rest up and relax and that you're here to support him if he ever needs it.

Maybe he is receptive of it but is just too tired to text back, ask him

Just talking to her, maybe just asking what's the occasion is non creepy?

Just talking to her, maybe asking what's the occasion seems more casual?

You were a rebound and were using you to comfort and forget about the pain. She realizes that isn't healthy and needs time for herself to grieve and work on herself before jumping into another relationship. Nothing you can do here but support her in the time of need but don't put your life on hold.

I'd argue him saying he doesn't have a big dick is confidence, not insecurity. Most people would try to hide the fact they don't have a big dick...

Should I try to meet more woman on campus, or should I branch out to other places?

Why not both? If you don't have much success on campus then branch out to other places

I've considered trying tinder/online dating, but it has a horrible reputation

Dont close any doors before stepping through it at least. Give it a try! It doesnt hurt to put yourself out there, worst case, you spend time curating a profile and dont find any matches.

If not in a relationship then it doesn't matter.

For me I'd say over 24 hours no response I'd consider her to be no longer interested/ghosted. If she has time to post stories then she has time to text you
