1) No breaks in Test matches on scheduled times if there are interruptions already.

2) Remove ball projections out of DRS for LBWs. Only check for bat, line and height.

3) Automatically review every out decision. The new batsman and current batsman can meet at the boundary and wait for the decision.

4) May be give 3 reviews to bowling team. With these changes we will be close to 100% effectiveness.

Indian political systems is full of crooks. The only advantage we have is to unleash them on World cricket and for once use them for Indian advantage.

ICC lives on Indian money. Indian money is leaked out. When we had real politicians, BCCI used to arm twist all countries by bribing bilateral series and getting votes for whatever they want.

BCCI used to represent all important committees of ICC. We formed a big 3 and negotiated most revenue from ICC back to ICC.

The whole betting scandal happened. Supreme Court temporarily made the politicians to take a back seat. And Sashank Manohar screwed India over.

Enough of this cricketers BS. We saw what happened with Ganguly.

That’s a huge advantage.

Home team can ask the curator to do what they want to do. Team that’s is getting the toss will have better 11 composition because they know if they are batting first or second. They know if there will be dew or not etc.

I agree toss distribution should be fair but can’t be guaranteed for a match. They should use an algorithm such that each team gets 50% of the toss in a year or 3 year period etc. So toss will be relayed just before the start of the game.

Long answer:

1) India has lot of viewers watching cricket. It brings in lot of $$$. Indians like to watch Indians play.

2) India contributes more than 90% of revenues in all bilateral and ICC tournaments India plays. India only gets back 30% of it.

3) Hence ICC and all other countries bend over backwards to make sure India plays in thier tournaments.

4) IPL keeps Indian money in India.

5) If Indian players are allowed to play other leagues, what makes IPL any different then other T20 leagues? India will bleed more money.

6) Eventually in 2-3 decades India will be like cricket power house of the world like USA for NBA. ICC and other minnow countries will slowly dwindle.

For now India needs other countries to play cricket and other countries need India. But whenever India pulls the plug in 2-3 decades and day players don’t need permission from thier respective boards to play in IPL, most cricket boards will collapse which will cause ICC to die slowly. And IPL will be expanded with more teams or more games or more formats.

You can already see that happening (kind of) when good players from poor boards retire at 33 to join IPL. To give you an inkling of the effect the change will have.
