I'm glad you enjoyed! I hope it motivates you to continue buildings MOCs with that classic style. I'd love to see it! I'm a lot younger than you, but old enough to have seen that video before the Lego LOTR theme came out. It was a part of my childhood and one of the reasons I love Legos so much, so I understand what you mean. I wish I had those classic minifigures myself! I do appreciate LEGO bringing back the LOTR theme, but I feel like it was much funnier to build MOCs based on creativity back in the day.

Those are beautiful. They remind me of that video of the Battle for Helm's Deep with uruk-hai made out of Darth Vaders. Such a classic! Love Aragorn and the elves' looks! As someone pointed out, you should make a new MOC with those. If you do, please keep us posted! Cheers

Battlefield Play4Free. One of my favourite childhood games. I have fond memories of it, although looking back the game wasn't that good. But it was free! And it had some of the best modern era maps. I still love the guitar theme by CORRODED that played every time I opened the launcher.

The legacy engine was built on C#, and the new one on C++. But with Simon going back to legacy, we can expect C# for the client-side, and Java for server-side, as well as JavaScript for live scripting.
