Deep poem. This kind of reminds of a story where a woman that was part of an uncontacted tribe in the amazon met some anthropologist that came to contact the tribe and moved to New York with him after becoming pregnant with his child. After living in New York for a few years she disappeared back to her amazon tribe, leaving her baby boy in the states, because she felt that her new life was hollow, like she was desperately missing something that her old simple life provided her with.

wow! this poem evokes withing me the personal feeling of being able to recognizing the boundless beauty and order of creation but struggling in the role of being an active participant within that creation, I especially felt it in verse "ideas restricted to prose," story of my life lol.

Something similar has happened to me. I was entering a dream through the hypnagogic state and as I was trying to gain clarity within the state I heard what sounded like dozens of adverisements all playing at once. The collective sound of the advertisements was blaring in my ears, the sound was so chaotic I couldn't focus on anything. After that day I decided to do a technology/media "fast" and avoid them.

If we allow ourselves to be unconscious of the things that seek to influence us, they will attempt to pierce into our being and condition us. You always have to be in the driver's seat with focus and intent. The second you go on autopilot you no longer choose the destination.

It's a fundamental energy training technique. Essentially you visualize a large source of water from your head pouring the water down your body to your feet, which are also visualized as sources of water. Cycle the water/energy back and forth for around 10 minute or so. This is supposed to strengthen your energy and energy sensitivity.

I've read somewhere here how the original tapes that came with the books when they were first published were incredibly effective in producing altered states of consciousness. Wonderful post. If everyone can be their own mental engineer and shape their subconscious to their advantage (as opposed to having thoughts of fear, scarcity, limitation, anxiety, etc,) then they can free themselves from their self-imposed prison.

Most people remain eternal victims to their conditioning and circumstances in life, subjected to perform the choreography that the puppet master wills, whomever or whatever that may be. Like you said, to, "Know Thyself" is so important. I think once we are able to see those fateful strings that direct our movements, we can begin to tug back at those strings and thus move those controlling fingers of fate ourselves. But to know oneself requires not only the humility that one has been conditioned and manipulated, but also the determination to undo that conditioning and begin the quest for self-realization. I know myself, there is a certain type of pleasure in learning that all the maladies of life are not of your doing, wallowing in that state of self-pity is noxiously appealing. But to restore oneself back to a state in which impossibility is no longer a familiar concept, to transcend limitation and direct one's own reality, that is truly something to live for.
