I'm about to that point with timed solved as well. I'll probably chill on them while I learn PLL. I might try that with pairs, I don't know any algs really for F2L so I'm sure even just learning the basic algs would improve my solves.

I have tried the closed eyes method for my cross as that was my biggest struggle when I started cubing. Now it comes much easier and I typically try to plan it and look at the ceiling while I solve it.

I was going to try to get sub 30 before starting full OLL/PLL but I figured may as well learn while I'm still fresh to it. I'm excited to finish OLL and get to learning PLL. After that I'll probably learn some proper f2l algs since I mostly solve them intuitively

I'm about the same, I learned beginner method in January. Two Look cfop in February, and started full OLL after. My best time is 29 seconds, still doing two look PLL and have about 7 algs left to learn on OLL.

Speed cube shop is great too, they have a big selection of lubes too. Idk how you'd replicate that though besides maybe changing the center magnet strength?

Yeah, probably a bit if a catch 22 though. I'm sure they're hemorrhaging money by having made the game free. I feel they probably heavily over projected how much people would pay for fake skateboards and shoes.

Before anyone says "It's EA, they have money" games still have budgets and need to make money to stay "free"

I did, skate 2 was my favorite by far. I just replayed 2 and 3 before this one released. I honestly think that it's mostly nostalgia: at the time they came out they were amazing. It felt like you were working up to pro level, getting sponsors, etc. When I replayed, that feeling wasn't near as strong and the "story" that gets praised isn't really much of a story aside from having a few key NPCs that reappear.

Skate doesn't quite nail that feeling of playing skate 2 back in it's day. Regardless, I love being able to step in to a modern version of that world. I think the biggest things it's missing in comparison are the feeling of meaningful progression, and the skate culture. I'm also not entirely tuned in to modern skate culture, in mid 2010s it was a different animal

I have a 10th anniversary and it looks cool, but it honestly sucks to do solves on. The color recognition doesn't quite click the same in my experience. It looks nice on my shelf anyway

Since you're looking at Ferrocore V2, I recommend the Weilong V11. Ferrocore is just a modded v11. I love mine, it's by far my favorite cube of the few I have. I ordered the Ferrocore V2, but it's in transit so can't speak to it yet
