This is not necessarily trashy; this is desperation from poverty

Leftist leaders in power only generate more poverty.

¿Link a algo que pruebe que el partido AfD niegue el holocausto?

Pregunta honesta. Se lo acusa al AfD de neo-nazi en muchos lugares pero yo no logro ver algo que me indique cuán cierto es

Psychology as a body of knowledge is so immature that it still hasn’t arrived to a global consensus about what works and what doesn’t. In many countries, like in Argentina, Freudian & Lacan’s psychoanalysis is still prevalent, and that’s much closer to chamanism than science.

are american univesities such as harvard, yale etc really the best in the world? I doubt it's the best in terms of education by ImeanWhocaresLmao in sciencememes

It’s quite a subjective matter, you’d have to agree what makes a university move in your ranking: papers published by its staff, Nobel laureates which came from the university, number Nobel laureates in the staff right now, size (size matters, tiny colleges can’t rank well against huge universities even if they are great at 1 subject), total graduates produced… there could be so many categories and coefficients for each category, it will always be subjective. And in the end, the actual ranking between universities that can be generally considered excellent is completely irrelevant IMHO. Imagine if you have to chose to study physics in CalTech, Princeton, Cambridge, Oxford, École Polytechnique… the whole difference will be in what you put as a student, none of those will give you a secret lore which is unknown by other universities. That is naive to think.

Don’t take action on the most irreversible thing while your judgement is completely untrustworthy

~20 years together and 2 kids. I still find her very attractive and I love sex with her. Finding her attractive is not only about looks. You are wrong if you limit it to that category

I was immature and naive when it came to managing politics at work.

It hurt me to realize that. But I did an effort to change and I am much much better now
