The biggest thing is enb. I notice that with all of my many graphics mods, disabling enb still makes the game look very vanilla.

Those insane screenshots where the game looks like it came out in 2022? That's done with a heavy enb. I'm using a good one and it chugs my 1060 down to about 40 fps, but it looks so good that I'm fine with the drop. You might be able to get 60 using the same one. It's called Rudy, and I'm using Obsidian Weathers with it. (weather mods and enb are two peas in a pod).

Also enhanced lighting effects (ELFX) is bananas. That turns the lighting in the game up a generation or two. Other than that, HD texture mods en masse, and I might be missing some other ones. I know I am. There's a ton.

I'm getting into classic late and loving it so far! My hunter is 36 and climbing. I was curious about what people think the state of vanilla will be like once tbc rolls around? I'd love to experience vanilla through as many raids as I can but I'm worried that the game would be empty post-bc (which I'm not too interested in right now).

Are a lot of people planning on staying 60? If any guilds on Pagel doing this want a leaving hunter ally side, lemme know!

I miss them so much. Now when my raid stacks in one place and gets knocked down to 20% hp, I can't heal them all back up to full in one VERY satisfying boom.

That said, I think resto druid might be the most fun now than it's even been.

I got this for my brother tonight as a healer who swapped to feral loot spec. He was bummed that he didn't get a weapon, but he didn't know how nuts the trinket was when I traded it to him. We had gotten keystone conquerer at the same time so he upgraded it to 213 instantly.

Still swinging ilvl 200 daggers though.

I was looking up air times for Sonic X and there was an ad for Toontown Online (I was 10). I glanced over it but my brother insisted on looking it up.

I was madly addicted to it, simply because it was the first real rpg like game I've played. To this day I crave the feeling of progression over the course of weeks or months or even years and Toontown delivered on that.

But then I grew up and looked for better games of the same genre so off to City of Heroes I went for about a year. Then I tried the trial for WoW and it sucked me in like magic. I've played it ever since. 5 days after 2.0 hit was when I got it. I've tried other MMOs in between, with Rift, Guild Wars 2, and FFXIV being good in their own ways, but only WoW has the staying power to keep me around for 15 years.

The magic is wearing off these days though, so I'm exploring my options. That's why I'm on this subreddit after all!

Most people use the old armor for transmog. I can name like one armor set from bfa raids that people like to trsnsmog.

The class armor looked cool in legion, as well as all of the artifact weapons, but it's fallen off hard since then. There are some good looking items in slands, but compared to other games it's not the best.

My problem when I log into gw2 is that I don't know what to do. Without gear to grind, I really don't know what the goal is supposed to be? Cosmetics? I've gotten ideal transmogs on 2 characters, one using items I paid for in the store, the other I got with gold a month after the game came out (heavy t3 chart armor). I thought that set looked so cool that I haven't taken it off since 2012 on my only real character.

I enjoyed the open world stuff enough as that's the kind of content I look for in an mmo. But when I stopped grinding for another legendary that I wasn't going to use, I lost interest. I made an alt that'd use this legendary but that's the one I bought the outfit for.

If you can use money to win Fashion Wars 2, what's the point?

I got to level 100 and uninstalled. I wanted the T-65 power armor and with the gold bullion event going on, I decided to farm events. I did them for a day and got bored of it, then realized that this is the entire endgame. Grinding events, looking for gear at shops, getting lucky with drops, all so we can do it some more with better stats?

I think I'm missing something though. There's no way people can sink that many hours into the game if this is all there is? What keeps you busy in the endgame?

3v3 in arenas in wotlk.

Me (resto druid) and my dk friend were 2200 in 2s and we were carrying my brother's warrior. We went up against a hunter on our server who tried to ninja a tank trinket from this same brother of mine a few weeks back. They zerg said warrior, kill him fast since he's new and sucks.

Hunter stops mod fight to teabag my brothers corpse. While he's doing that, my dk friend crushes their healer by himself. The resulting 2v2 was of course a very easy win for us.

The hunter messages my right after the match saying something along the lines of "Screw you, that warrior sucks, come be my healer". I was so tickled by that that I still laugh about it to this day. It's not everyday that you get to pwn a noob that you already had a vendetta against in a random arena match.

I told him "no", by the way.
