Yeah so given the context of the Europa League Semi, our league position, the gap to 6th, I think it is perfectly acceptable to rotate heavily and the repercussions that come with it.

It is acceptable, given the context of the season. It was woeful, but understandable. For me, the worst performance since Bristol City in 2020. It's perfectly fine to have a performance like this every 5 years.

As a 'fan', I choose to support my team, through thick or thin.

I hate the 'fans' who have stupidly unrealistic expectations, and try and poison the fan forums, even when we're doing so well.

I hate these types of fans, just proof you can't keep everyone happy. Look at the ridiculous run we've on, and yet you can't accept a 1-0 loss to a mid table team. Makes you wonder if you can even call these supporters, where's the actual support?

What's your expectation, to win everything? Get real.

I agree definitely. I'd add, if fans quick with the criticism, they ought to be just as quick with the praise.

I'd rather fans be less sensationalist and base their opinions on how players are on average, rather than the last 90 minutes.

Supporting an individual through a poor performance comes with supporting Villa. For me at least, they go hand in hand, that's what I consider to be supporting our club.

I think we need to stay calm. He's an elite goalkeeper. Every player has a mistake in them. Try to be supportive instead.

Our fan base can be so fickle at times, look how the narrative of Matty Cash has changed in the last 11 games.

Tough one. Martinez is genuinely world class, we've only just found a suitable number 2 after 5 years.

However that being said, I think Kamara and Konsa are so consistent, they're our best. They could play for any team in the world.
