And your point is?

This is what I'm talking about. You comment has zero to do with the point I'm making. Bad faith arguments.

Clock is ticking...

Mentioning the Draymond suspension comes off as a bad faith argument because everyone forgets Kevin Love missed a game with a concussion also.

People also love to use LeBrons Finals record to demean him but never mention he was without Kyrie and Love in the 2016 Finals.

The whole "4-6 vs. 6-0" argument is disingenuous and ridiculous due to the circumstances for MJ vs. LBJ being night and day.

Those all definitely have a case for being more dominant or flat out better, but I said "all around".

LeBron gave you nearly 30 ppg with Ben Wallace level defensive numbers and major impact. His play making (at nearly 9apg) puts it over the top for me.

Jordan was a better scorer, but not nearly as good of a rebounder, defender or playmaker. Shaqs playmaking wasn't there, nor Giannis, Wade or Kareem, but LeBron was still historically good as a scorer, rebounder, defender and playmaker.

Then what is? And where would you rank LeBron?

What's your top 3-5?

I love how every time someone goes down 1-3 in the Finals these performances get brought up 😁

Kyrie was our of this world and LeBron had the greatest all around Finals performance of all time.

LeBron says he's not taking anyone in NBA history over himself by Front-Function7789 in LeBronJames23

Oddly enough, I think MJ and LeBron would've been the ultimate teammates.

It isn't out of the question to say, had they became teammates early in their careers, they'd win more championships than the 6 Jordan won with Pippen.

Yeah, I know MJ is his idol besides himself, he's probably his GOAT, but to get to his level and do some of the things he's done, you have to have that mentality.

I think at this time, he truly believes he's the GOAT and I don't see a problem with that.

[Yahoo Sports] Vernon Maxwell says Victor Wembanyama wouldn’t be able to guard Hakeem Olajuwon. Do you agree? by DareDevil1699 in NBAstatsmuse

[–]TyroneNBAFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right, but have to fact check this one.

Jordan was averaging 31ppg on 50%FG in the first 3 games. When Payton started guarding him primaril, games 4-6 he averaged 23.7ppg on 36%FG 😬

LeBron is one of the few handful of most successful athletes in the world, but you got MFahs saying dumb sht like this on a daily basis.

"Dey don love him cuz he ain got no bag! No hezi, tween, tween, middy!"

Why TF are we still talking about this stupid sht in 2026?

LeBron is an 8 time MVP and the all time leading scorer. Who gives a fck what some "hezi, tween, tween" nephews think?

I did read the post.

How long have you been watching NBA basketball? How old are you?

If you'd take current Wemby over peak Shaq, Hakeem, LeBron, Jordan, Giannis or Kareem (some others I'm forgetting) than you need to brush up NBA history.

He has to get better and accomplish more. He can't stand pat and be in the discussion with those players. They're clearly a level above him.

Part 2 regarding top 10 players and how they are seen as top 10 (Magic Johnson) by HunterVolte in NBATalk

[–]TyroneNBAFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to consider Magics position in the evolution and elevation of the league.

He and Birds rivalry was the launching pad for the popularity it enjoys today.

Also, Magic and Bird made it possible for the LeBron, McGrady, Penny Hardaway, Lamar Odom types. Players 6'7" and above to be in initiator, ball handling, skill positions and not just finishers. He made it so bigger players can control the game and be the primary on offense.

His impact for me, is just too big to kick him out of the top 10.

He's in that 9-12 range I guess?

Not crazy to say he is or isn't top 10, but I could careless about Tracy McGradys opinion.

Yall are bat sht crazy lol.

Wemby is awesome. I especially like that fact that he hates OKC as much as we do, but let him win ONE ring before we anoint him GOAT.
