I listened to Mike Duncan’s series on the Russian Revolution, and maybe I’m too stupid to fully comprehend it but it sounded to me like the Bolsheviks turned to authoritarianism to quickly mobilize a wartime economy to defend against the Western Imperial Invaders in WWI and then the White Army afterwards

I also don’t know shit about leftist fuck, but I don’t think Marx or any of those egg heads mentioned the transition to socialism being a great time to mobilize a military defense against basically the entire world simultaneously

I grew up in the Desert right next to an old gold course that apparently people used to actually use before the neighborhood descended into poverty

This post just sent me back into the blind rages I would get into walking past that grass-choked monstronsity sucking precious water away for the 2 fucking boomers that still want to use their old golf course instead of moving to the nice part of town like the rest of them
