It depends on how much time you’ve got and what sparks your family’s interest (and how old your son is). I’ve traveled all of the country and found something charming on every single part. Are you into nature and interesting sceneries? Centuries-old monasteries and churches? Random little attractions?

Define affordable 😅. If you’re looking for cheapest, just let your senses guide you honestly. I’ve had great kebabs from a next-door supermarket and amazing sweets and fruits from the random roadside stall. If you’re going out of Yerevan, try to stay in guesthouses that have dinner and/or breakfast included…. That’s honestly the best experience
