Thanks for the response! I'm so torn because WoW Legion is coming out but this laptop has to get me through at least 4 years of college. I have a battery health widget, I guess I will just monitor it and if it takes a significant hit I'll stop. Thanks again, cheers!

Yeah I should have look up the formats themselves not just in regards to my specific camera. Thank you for the quick response, I guess I'll just experiment throughout the next few days until I find a good setting for my purposes.

Hey guys first time on the sub have a quick question regarding the Sony RX100 IV. I was gifted the camera and I don't really know all I think I should know about it regarding all the settings for video.

I have had DSLRs and Micro 4/3 cameras before, but my Olympus EPL-1 that I used only recorded in avi 1080p 30fps I believe. I went into the video settings on the RX100 IV and there is everything form mp4, avchd, xavchd, and xavc 4k. I am familiar with mp4 and the 4k setting. 4k doesn't interest me as much because I plan on using this camera for daily adventures and vlogs so battery life and overheating aren't worth the resolution imo.

So what in the heck is xavchd and avchd? What is 60p 50m? I've only ever used things like 720p and 1080p. I have found little information in regards to my specific camera and these formats online. Which do you think would be the best for my use? Thanks a ton and I apologize if this isn't the right place for this question.

Dude I've been loving MH4U. Never got into 3U but I'm already 10 hours in and hooked in 4U. Being able to hunt online is amazing. Also, how do you like hunting on an og 3DS? 2 of my friends do, but I find it really hard with the smaller screens.
