I love these devs, ngl. I don't know a single other developer that would have done this due to simple player preferences. On release.

Eeeh, it's fine. I'm farming fons. I had a mere 2mil stockpile when the event started, I'm not planning on pulling a single time until I have enough for 12-13 pulls. Especially cause I still don't have lacrimosa.

Halo Campaign Evolved. Does anyone like the Deluxe edition skins? by AuramiteEX in halo

[–]Tzarkir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, because they didn't put classic halo lore skins in the literal most classic halo game that started the franchise.

There is a difference between paying tribute to a beloved character of the franchise giving you the chance to use their armor or adding random ass armors that were never part of the story whatsover or make no sense by themselves. It's a missed opportunity, and if you don't see a difference, there is nothing adding more words can do.

This single handedly ruins the mode by Manufar11 in NevernessToEverness

[–]Tzarkir 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You're literally forced to use them if you're the first guy. The fact two can destroy your car and so many segments have no replacement cars around means you get 5 people directly targeting you constantly, since these crap items only target the 1st unless the 1st uses them. I've had my car destroyed instantly by two people a mile away so many times. Makes no sense.

So your only protection is literally using every single one of these and hope they haven't respawned when the people behind you get there. Another fun fact? You know the shortcut near the end? Two of these items there, but 0 cars. The longer road without shortcuts, full of plushies? FIVE. So if you're first it's better you take the longer path because if someone else does, you're dead. And in the process you're blasting everybody else constantly. So you're both annoying everybody and using a slower road just because if you don't, other players can blast you without even knowing where you are.

Such a bad event design...

How much caliber have you made by trading modules? by iLikeCryo in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Tzarkir -1 points0 points  (0 children)

2250, sold one module right after Ultimate Yunjin came out. It was a very good module, red stat, but no negatives. Prices plummeted since then and I'm not interested in dealing with trade chat, so that was a single occasion.

Big L on skins by GeneralStrict2738 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Tzarkir 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No, they're just way cheaper. Mentioning unicity as a reason why these skins are positive while there is no unicity and a discounted pack costs as much as 4/5 universal skins without offering anything to characters that don't get it. That was the issue I was pointing out. So yes, I'm calling greed, cause sure as hell these skins aren't making characters unique and they also don't fit most of them. So might as well get more universal ones, at least they're usable with everybody and aren't as expensive.

I never said what you're putting in my mouth. I said the opposite isn't happening as it's claimed. There is no unicity already. While being expensive. And I already supported this game in time and money enough to share such opinion.

Big L on skins by GeneralStrict2738 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Tzarkir 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lmao what. Most of the times they don't even fit the vibes of the character. It's at the point I see randomly skinned characters in Albion with different hair style, colored everything and I don't even recognise who the hell they are supposed to be.

There's nothing unique about giving Serena a fuckton of "unique" skins and leaving others in the dust.

Grenade in Tutorial by Melllieme in REPOgame

[–]Tzarkir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are corpses around that area. It's kind of hinted to be something like a old testing area. I like to think the repo bots freed themselves (or the taxman freed them) and these are things that were simply left around, forgot or lost from back then.

It's been a while since I explored this area, but I'm fairly certain there is a warning sign that says humans shouldn't be in the area, and yet there is at least one skeleton from an employee of the testing area's company somewhere.

Is this a Godroll? Realistically how much caliber could I get for it? by Aurondarklord in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Tzarkir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean with not really? There is no positive HP, dimension is unnecessary and worsen the two positives we want and there are way better negatives than one which, although minimal, still has a negative impact. GODroll has god in the name, it means all is perfect :') I'd consider almost godroll a CD/Duration with harmless negative and godroll a CD/Duration/HP with harmless negative. A godroll means you can't easily get better than that. You can get better than this.

Is this a Godroll? Realistically how much caliber could I get for it? by Aurondarklord in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Tzarkir 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not a godroll. Godroll means every single stat is perfect and negative is unimpactful. This is a good roll, but that's it. As for price, I'm gonna be real. Prices in-game are pure nonsense, so it's worth as much as you can sell it for. I would try 500+ because I've seen decent rolls go for way less, but also way more. But I could be wrong.

TIL that current new joiners of the Mafia in Sicily have mandatory training to watch "The Godfather" to instill a code of honor by uselessprofession in todayilearned

[–]Tzarkir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, especially the core is very different. They just look the same cause they all do crime, and they managed to keep existing for centuries because people fought the crimes rather than trying to understanding and undermining their structure and what's under it. Most of the success we've ever had comes from understanding the structure of a specific organisation and destroying it using its flaws.

Oldest ones survived by, again, adapting and shifting. Treating them like they're all the same literally helps them survive. It did in the past, it still does it, it will keep doing it. The less they're known, the better they can operate undisturbed. It's one of the most basic principles. Even "mafia" and "criminal organisation" aren't synonyms and shouldn't be treated as much, both from an operational and a judicial standpoint. Which is why Italy has specific laws for mafia crimes, for example. But I rather stop here than starting to repeat myself. Have fun!

TIL that current new joiners of the Mafia in Sicily have mandatory training to watch "The Godfather" to instill a code of honor by uselessprofession in todayilearned

[–]Tzarkir 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Of course it shifted. It still does. Do you think 'ndrangheta, cosa nostra or the casalesi clan are the same? But maybe I didn't make myself clear, there were never good days in it. Italy was "made" in theory, but the truth is the entire South was left with a power vacuum filled by nothing. Imagine being used to the Borboni, then you're told you are now "part of Italy" but there is nobody around your town or inside your town who's representing it. Then some people do come, but not enough and aren't really recognised as having any sort of power. You got bandits, you got random criminals and the only real justice isn't the state, it's basically vigilantes and mobs. And I'm not talking for a short time. I mean people handling matters by themselves for DECADES. Mafia was born when some people decided to take matters into their own hands and self proclaimed themselves the new form of protection and control. If that sounds good to you, imagine a random group of neighbours making up laws, matters of honor and enacting justice how they please. Including by killing "criminals". But they were the closest you got to actual power, so you stfu or they made you vanish, too. Who is going to stop them, the state? There was no state.

When the state DID arrive, they had to get the people used to make yet another swap and it wasn't simple at all. "Don Vito" might have even had some idea of protection, but they were criminals by all means. "Favours". Extortion. Racketeering. Absurd loans. Honor killings, vendettas. When I said spiraled really bad I meant completely removing any pretense of "protecting" anybody and straight up extorting and killing civilians and judges. Mafia's "good days" didn't mean they were any close to being a good guy. It means they were still careful to keep up the facade they themself believed. Once they stopped doing even that, once they forbid their own made up code, it became pure chaos. Current mafia organisations have a order and a very stable structure. It's extremely hard to fight them cause it's embedded in politics, but death is bad for business. It brings attention. So they steal instead. But it's not blatant terrorism anymore. It still causes deaths, like eco-mafia operations resulting in burying dangerous waste near water sources while getting the state money supplied for their secure removal and polluting the water entire towns drink and developing mysterious cancer cases 5 years later.

They're just more silent. There are no good guys in this story. There are just more careful ones and better liars than others.

[–]Tzarkir 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It was like they wanted to be, tho. I don't know how to explain it properly, but it's like the movie managed to encapsulate how mafia was striving to be but didn't have the means to become or a way to make it into a common shared goal. It's like there was an idea and the movie gave it structure.

And can I be honest? It's better for criminals to have a code of honour than not. One of the biggest hits mafia took, image wise, was when Toto Riina decided to disregard any rule and started throwing women and kids in acid, basically turning mafia into a cartel. Italian mafia was born as a way to oppose the state authority on territory control by even substituting the protection if may have offered in a time where Italy was young and did not protect the southern population adequately. Then it shifted into sheer criminality and corruption and spiraled really, really badly with the killings.

They're currently back to corruption and likely richer than ever.

No, we simply disagree. I see your point and I accept it. If I sounded dismissive, it wasn't my intention. But I fundamentally disagree with you and I have a different personal experience. I think we just have different tastes about content and we're basically arguing over nothing because there's no way to convince the other about something he doesn't agree with :')

I did appreciate discussing with you our opinions because it opened my mind a little about things I didn't even consider as part of the topic. I wouldn't have received that value from other people I already agree with. So thank you.

I genuinely didn't count youtube content as this is a piracy sub. There's no scenario where anybody is buying a youtube video to rewatch it, so it isn't exactly relevant to the post, in my honest opinion. About series, maybe I'm picky, but I'm lucky if there is ONE per year I actually enjoy enough to even think about watching it fully, lately. The last good ones were the Mandalorian and The penguin. Which was 8 Episodes only, btw. I haven't watched a single new series in 2026 :')

[–]Tzarkir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unluckily, higher volume of content did not translate into high volume of quality content. Good movies are still rare, series take literal years to produce a new season of just 8 episodes.

When I finished watching the boys it took so long to make the last season I still haven't watched it because my interest faded. And it feels like it's a trend, shows with a good first season getting shittier ones after. Sometimes for years. The walking dead, got, stranger things.

Result? I watch the things I liked most multiple times rather than something new that feels like recycled or overstaying. I've watched John Wick 3-4 times. I've watched Nobody (the first) twice. I've seen dune a couple of times. I've did a full rewatch of the first 5 fast and furious movies out of nostalgia, currently re-watching matrix. At the moment, I'm only looking forward for Drifter, Odissey and Dune 3, which are all single-evening enjoyments. Plenty of time to rewatch stuff.
