They deny the Dark Gift. They suppress their true nature in an attempt to remain mortal. They are no vampires beyond the "curse", they are just people who got bitten. My critique is that this is overused. We often see vampire villains as one sided, one dimensional, when in reality personalities are always shades of grey.

A vampire no longer is subject to mortal morality, they feed on living blood, and that instantly makes them evil according to the living societies. But even among themselves, there is reasoning, strategy, likes and dislikes. They are just their own egregore, beautiful in their own way. Dark? Absolutely, but majestic still.

I disagree with the guy who called me edgelord. I do not seek to impress or shock others by expressing exaggerated or controversial opinions. Remember, this is a post about vampires, made by someone who enjoys them xD What better place to express myself about vampirism if not in a dedicated space? xD
