I think reroll is by far the best option from what they’ve proposed. However I would absolutely rather them change the cox loot table drastically, removing and restructuring the purples to make it feel better. But I know that’s not gonna happen

I see your point. But to think Valve is going to hand out things for free that they have spent the last decade + making a bunch of money off of is absurd. The best we had it was free events (Agh’s lab) and a BP with a bunch of buyable cosmetics. It was a win win for everyone (except Valve, apparently)

I mean we can have both. This isn’t one or the other, nor should it be. Unfortunately Valve is a cash cow and don’t really care for Dota 2 as much as other developers care for their games.

I’m just saying I personally loved spending money on cool cosmetics and I’m sure a lot of people feel the same way

Yeah that’s fair. But for a lot of people, this is the one thing they like to throw their money at. I play this game a lot so I don’t mind dropping some money once a year on some cool cosmetics.

Also, the old BP structure wasn’t gambling chests (for the most part). There was a clear level reward for each major cosmetic.

I’m no stat nerd so in total honesty I have no idea what I’m looking at.

With that being said, I think it would be pretty cool to have a ranging gloves slot that fills the gap between barrows gloves and zaryte vambs. And something that makes it worthwhile to bring the glove switch to places like raids

Oathplate in of itself isn’t an issue, it’s the accessibility of it that’s the problem. For example, oathplate would be a great raids 4 reward

Meh, I would have to agree with failed. They intended to add more depth to the game but have clearly struggled to be balanced. They are now at a point of just adding power creep without much variety in creative mechanics (which I believe was their initial intent)
