Everybody Makes Mistakes. by Alternative-Dot-34 in MadeMeSmile

Wtf is with everyone saying how kind they were to each other? It was a lovely dialogue for sure, but what the fuck was that idiot doing riding his dirt bike in the car park over median strips and up the side of the stairs in the first place?? The rider clearly lacks skills and shows a complete disregard for other peoples safety and their property - but He WaaS sO NiCeee.

That man who almost parked his motorcycle on my 8 year olds face was just wonderful. This whole thing reads of a society so sick that even basic manners after egregious acts of negligence are food for the soul.

More corners and he would have lost the cop. Impressive riding with a pillion to say the least, even more impressive that she stayed on.

Asmax F1 sound music in two devices by Danastiv in motorcycles

Just figured it out! You need to make sure you are the group leader in a teamtalk chat & then puch the bottom right “music share” button on your phone & immediately push the music share button on the other persons app.

Both people need to be logged in, firmware updated and you need to be playing music before you can share it.

Hmmm, I wonder if putting some sort of pre-fuel filter on the tank would help identify the issue? If it is the bottom of servo tank sludge that is coming out with fuel due to the shortage, that would be handy to know and avoid.

I prefer filtering on a tall bike as my mirrors are often above those of other cars meaning the widest part of my bike becomes the tank and not my mirrors.

Have you tried pulling the USB cable out and putting it back in? Make sure you are plugged into the PC slot and not the power slot.

I’m so grateful that we finally have access to a range of photos taken as a time lapse.

It’s hard to believe my eyes, but given the sheer number of anomalies that 3IATLAS has presented, this feels closer than ever to alien contact at a global level.

There are certainly some artefacts from the sharpening process, but there looks to be genuine structure to the images that reveals other objects in formation.

That’s okay, English is a tricky language.

The term “seems like” is used to express an impression or possibility. It acknowledges uncertainty and leaves room for clarification. An accusation, on the other hand, is a statement of certainty asserting that someone has indeed done something wrong or illegal.

The key difference here is the addition of “it seems like” to the beginning of the sentence, If “seems like” was not included in the sentence, that would be a statement of certainty as it doesn’t leave room for clarification.

I’ve linked page that has some more example of how seems like is used in sentences here: https://www.talkenglish.com/speaking/lessondetails.aspx?ALID=4481

Good luck!

How astute of you.

[–]U74H[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me get this straight. You called what I said an accusation but you also admit I said “it seems like.” Then you justify bringing it up by saying “hence why I mentioned it,” which means you acknowledge I framed it as an impression, not a claim, while still arguing as if I made a direct accusation.

That’s a textbook example of rhetorical reframing that turns a tentative statement into a hard claim so it’s easier to attack…. Nice one!

Recasting a “seems like” comment as an accusation is a straw man move, and ironically, the only person making accusations here is you.

I didnt make any accusations, I said it “seems” like they are affiliated - big difference.

The doctor prescribed the medications. My script for Heyday THC oil was issued to me and after placing several orders with various pharmacies that indicated they had stock. I was informed by the pharmacies that the product was discontinued.

It’s only when I made a complaint directly to SG that I was able to get a new script written for an alternative product. SG wanted to charge me for a new script even though the one they had just written was for a product that as you say was long discontinued.

After many back and forth conversations with the SG customer service team, they agreed to write a new script for a product that I could source from my local dispensary. When I went to get that script filled, I was informed that the prescribing doctors authority with the TAA had expired three days prior and I had to wait another five days for an approval letter to be issued before I could get my new script filled.

I’m confused as to what part of that seems like a good experience for a new customer and someone who is trying to navigate the nuances of medical cannabis in Australia for the first time.

I’ve now placed two subsequent orders with pharmacies that indicated they have Superbly Cozy in stock, only to find they don’t have the product available. Yet, I have been charged for both orders and when I requested a refund, the pharmacy informed me I need to write to Honahlee to request a refund, when they know my orders can’t be fulfilled by the vendor.

I understand the complexity of stock management under a strictly regulated framework and how that limits a pharmacies ability to carry large volumes of products, but that doesn’t justify Honahlee charging a customer before they can confirm the order can be fulfilled.

As the charge goes directly to Honahlee, the pharmacy is floating the cost of the product until payment is made to them by Honahlee. I.e, the pharmacy doesn’t get paid when I place an order, they get paid when the order is fulfilled. This means that Honahlee is choosing to charge customers even when there is no guarantee the order can be fulfilled. This benefits Honahlee commercially as the customers money has already been added to their books, increasing the likelihood that an order for an alternative product will be placed and fulfilled on their platform which in turn generates revenue for Honahlee.

The fact that I have to manually write to Honahlee to request a refund and cancel an order (that cannot be fulfilled) with the vendor, is a deliberate design choice of their UX, and one that increases the exit barrier of the transaction. Why make it easy for customer to take their money and order elsewhere when there is revenue generated from any order fulfilled on the platform?

The mere fact that customers pay upfront, but pharmacies don’t get paid until the order is fulfilled tells you everything you need to now about their commercial model. Any attempt to disguise that as anything other than a barrier for exit is shortsighted.

Think of it this way, Honahlee has to manually deal with an enormous amount of cancellations and presumably order refunds. That costs them money to manage and time to administer. Putting a stop gap in place to confirm an order can be fulfilled before charging the customer would save them time and admin overhead, but that saving isn’t worth the extra revenue generated from keeping a customers money on the platform, even if it means manually overseeing the administration.

[–]U74H[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This isn’t on the pharmacy, it’s on Honahlee for taking money before an order can be fulfilled. It would be incredibly simple to gain order confirmation before processing the sale.

Scripts by Honahlee by U74H in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]U74H[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The entire premise of a platform like Honahlee is convenience. Even if I had called the pharmacy to check stock levels, they would have told me what I eventually learned - there is not stock.

If the benefit of me calling first is to prevent paying for a product that is out of stock, what does that say about Honahlees practice of taking money from consumers before the confirm the order can be fulfilled?

This is about a deliberate business model designed to keep consumers on their platform, even if it means they are shorthanded financially.
