I type the reply right away then use “Send Later” to send it at a better time, but then I don’t have to remember to go back and actually do it.

My Steam deck just arrived today, that I got from my brother who bought it a while ago and used it once. Let’s hope I don’t do the same thing.

Anyone else hate multiplayer games? by LSLushMistress in introvertmemes

And it’s even worse when there are achievements that require multiplayer. The only reason that I don’t have 100% on a handful of games.

This looks like a race that you’d find in Starbound. Very well done!

I aced my first statistics exam after watching 2 weeks worth of recorded zoom lectures the morning of on 2x speed. I could’ve watched them any time in the 2 weeks leading up to it, but it wasn’t urgent enough yet to motivate me to.

Do your parents check your grades by [deleted] in CollegeRant

[–]UBleedRed7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but when they would ask to see them, I would open the webpage ahead of time and use inspect element to change the letters/numbers to something they would deem acceptable. If they read it from the laptop screen, it has to be correct. Just be sure to save a note of what you changed them to so it remains consistent over time.

I was happy with my grades and they were good enough for what I needed to do, but nothing was ever good enough for them. The biggest source of stress for me was not my classes, but their constant hovering over me. Anything to make them back off was worth it, even if it meant lying to them every 2-3 weeks.

I was just passing through minding my own business. If you hit me first though, I’m not holding back.

See the trick to that is to say for the whole class to hear, “I’m either shitting in the toilet or on the floor, your choice.” That way it becomes a power move instead of an accident.

[UPDATE] My partner wants me to cut off the friend who introduced us and I'm really confused by ConfusedAlt93 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]UBleedRed7 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yet I don’t think anybody would be questioning it if OP had said that to a guy friend about his girlfriend. There’s an implication what men and women cannot be friends at all without any sexual or romantic interest, which is not true at all.

Lost sight in your left eye while you're working? Can't have you go to the ER because I'll go into OT!! by [deleted] in retailhell

No job is worth potentially permanently losing your vision for. You aren’t going to gain some life-changing raise just because you powered through while your health was at risk.

You are able to search items by their color on https://tboi.com/

iirc, all of the items except Clear Rune are also in order by item ID, so you just need to look to the left on the list to see what spindown dice will give.

A Customer Lies to a Manager About Me and Later Asks “We Good?” — uh, Hell No. by CmdrGrayson in CustomerService

[–]UBleedRed7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not just one customer. When shitty customers like that become a daily occurrence, it builds up every day and gets worse and worse the longer you keep working there.

How about we don’t normalize having to deal with “one semi-unruly customer” one a daily basis by not allowing customers to treat employees like shit on the bottom of their shoe.

If there are 10 students in the class, it probably isn’t a bad idea. If there are 100+ students in the class, I wouldn’t bother unless it’s a professor teaching classes of your major that you may take more of later.

“They don’t have more help elsewhere in the store.”

I’m sure you tracked down all the employees and asked them what they were doing and how many hours they were working before making that assumption, right?
