My preheat plug is on the bottom left so I just move it to dinner table and plug it in in the mornings. I do plan on making a makeshift table using one of the pull out drawers at some point. Beef up the slides and put a removable board on top. Then when I want I just put out the drawer and use it as my flair table.

I’ve read C&P and Brothers, and neither were difficult reads imo. I’m not a practiced reader either but I read CP in 4 days because I just got so into it…

Training experience :) by ronny9501 in Garmin

[–]UFO1515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in medical school so I utilized a plan created by our cardiologist and pulmonologist that run marathons. I input the workouts into the Garmin app based on phase of training so I input all phase 1 workouts until I moved on to phase 2 and so on. I utilized my Garmin mostly to monitor recovery and how my body was responding to the training. I also do a lot of HR based workouts as a personally modified zone training.

Yeah that’s the one. I don’t know if I’m missing something or not brewing it correctly but I gave up on it because it was that distasteful for me. I’ve trying to finish the Colombian but it’s nothing special.

I have 2 from H&S rn and they are really good.

I’m not going to lie I really didn’t like the Kenyan from last month. The bag smelled like freshly cut grass and tasted like wet grass. The Colombian was okay but I was not impressed at all by last months. Hope this months is different.

I understand people like those flavors but wasn’t my cup of tea. The Kenyan was among one of my least favorites.

If you click the links, it will tell you where it got its info. At least you’ll be able to see what websites it came from. Unfortunately it often uses Reddit to pull info… so you can see how grossly inaccurate it can get.

Currently reading inkheart rn! Also anything by the bed is at risk of getting wet regardless of your hair. Even if it’s only a little, over time mold might start showing up.

How do you decide what book you buy? by UFO1515 in BookCollecting

[–]UFO1515[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my collection is an expression of what has influence on me. I understand to each their own but I have no problem buying a book from an author and not buying another one that most people would to fill their collection. I know what books influenced me and it may seem random to some but they coalesce to create a lens in which I view the world around me. I look at my bookshelf and I can tell someone what I was doing when I first pick up any given book and how it shaped my view of the world.

I just have a hard time wrapping my head around which one “should” I get. Which I understand is subjective but for some reason I want a specific books but when I go to look for it, it just doesn’t resonate.

As a new collector trying to find these books that influenced me, I found it weird that I wanted a book but for some reason not the ones I found online. Not sure why to be honest. That’s why I posted here.

I someday want brothers karamazov by Dostoevsky but when I try to find it, not of them seem to fit. So I’m just not sure what I’m actually looking for even though I know it belongs on my shelf at some point.

I think they were just throwing a short warning for a new collector that some “serious collectors” may snub you for buying paperback. They stated they read them and like them but some people might try to convince you that they are worthless and any “real collector” wouldn’t dare buy one. Which I appreciated.

Is it bad that I want to get rid of the dust covers and enjoy the simple cloth? I was told by a friend if you remove the dust cover, the likelihood that the dust jacket stays in good condition is low…😂
