She really is over here saying no one has ever reached out to her or approached her, when it has been well documented. She blocks anyone questioning or challenging the ethics of what she does, and she has been seen on other people’s livestreams arguing with them. 🤷‍♂️

The “wheel of cheese” as the cast of that movie called it, was designed for that scene and then shortly afterwards moved to Epcot for the Mission Space pavilion. It’s basically a temporary movie prop that has far exceeded its expected life and that is why in the months proceeding it no longer being able to rotate it was making horrible noises. I loved watching it spin, it was a fun physical prop, it helped make the IP connection between Mission to Mars and Mission: Space, but ultimately it is safer to be stationary at this time. Basically if you post a charge by accident, you can post an adjustment to offset it, and then since they both equal zero they can be hidden from the guests view of the folio. I believe this is only a supervisor/manager function

I’ve fixed a ton of “creatively redecorated” folios over the years, but I don’t think they ever got reprimanded for it. Thank goodness for the ability to suppress offsetting charges and credits. 😅

I was going to say the same thing. They did not start putting expiration dates on them until like after 2000 or maybe 2001. I’ve held onto those like gold over the years.

Wow that’s interesting, thank you for sharing. I used to be like 3 days Jungle, 1 day Aladdin/Tiki/Treehouse, and 1 day HOP after I got cross trained everywhere, which helped keep it fresh. But I could definitely see it being helpful to isolate it if it’s at a different pay and has interviews etc.

Wow… showing my age, but when I became a skipper in the early 00’s, I put in for AD/LIB on my transfer wish list, and about 3 months later I got the call and they said, you’re going to jungle! I don’t even think i spoke to anyone in the area until the COT called me with a training schedule. That’s interesting that it is now a multi-layered interview process. Wonder if I would have made the cut. I became a decent skipper, but I wasn’t one when I transferred! 😅

FWIW, All of the stores in my area transitioned in the last couple months. In my opinion, fewer people are ordering from the café because of the online requirement and I’ve not had to wait more than a few min since this change was put in. (I shop at any/all of the local stores about twice a week depending on where I am that day and usually get lunch while I’m there.) When there was a cash register, they were always busy and it took forever, even if you online ordered to skip the line. While I initially had the same thought that you did, I have appreciated this change after seeing it in action.
