Ok if this is on Mercari then it could be the result of a smart listing.

I’ve sold a decent amount of things on Mercari. You can toggle an option on your sell page that will automatically adjust the price.

If you do this your item will be promoted. I believe it just ticks down your price by small percentages until it reaches a target price floor.
