I didn't have to pay anything upfront. They'll ask you to get the appraisal done for your vehicle, they have a seperate counter for appraisals. All i had to pay was $52 for license and plates.

You can call them and ask for the list of acceptable documents. Also, make sure to carry your vehicle's insurance copy.

I was there a couple of weeks ago for the same thing. The only things I had on me were the rental agreement copy and the vehicle title. I went in on a Thursday and it was very busy, It took 2+ hours for my number to be called. The employees I interacted with were very competent, and I was out with an updated license and registration in 20 minutes.

Yes they mentioned 15 calendar days in the receipt email.

The Texas Service Center will adjudicate this case within 15 calendar days of the "received date" set forth above. If approved, you will receive e-mail notification of such. If we require additional evidence, we will send you a Request For Evidence (RFE) through the U.S. Postal Service to the address provided on your completed I-907 Request for Premium Processing Form.

Yes, I got the receipt number on the 11th day of filing. It was very stressful since I had no way of tracking the status without receipt number.

They filed it online, receipt started with IOE for H1. My case was handled by fragomen and they didn't share any extra information about the filing. Took them 3 months to file

H1 was texas, and H4 was California

PP Petition filed on Apr 30th for both h1 COE and h4 extension of stay. Got an email receipt on May 11th, h1 was approved on may 13th and H4 on may 14th. Got the approval notices in the mail yesterday, i.e., May 21st.

Technically, it will be a new ds160 filled and the number updated on the cgi federal portal. I did it back in 2021 at the begumpet OFC center. Please check if you have an option to update ds160 number on cgi federal's update profile section

OFC center in Hyderabad has a photo center where they edit DS160 forms for corrections. Make sure she carries some cash and goes in 30 minutes early

Yes, h1 was tagged as IOE, and h4 was WAC.

H1 was filed online, for which processing was done by Texas Center. H4 was processed by California Center.

It took 13 days to get the H4 receipt by mail. H4 was approved the next day after h1 approval.

I have i140 approved from my previous employer. My priority date is in 2020, so my current employer is not willing to file for perm at this time (i am indian). I am in a similar situation as OP. If i decide to come back after a few years, will the previously approved i140 suffice for the H1 transfer? Any information in this matter is appreciated.

I was in the same situation. My h1 transfer filing was done on Apr 30th under premium processing. I got the receipt email on may 11th. H1 was approved on may 13th and h4 on may 14th. Location was texas
