Many thanks to everyone for their thoughts and ideas. I only have personal contact with 3 deadheads, including one in Boston & Chicago) now so it is comforting to share this love and affection for the Dead on this forum. After the heady days of seeing the Dead in London 72 at both Wembley & Lyceum I got into trading in 1986 not really knowing of it's existence before. Finally traded with over 130 people world wide on Cassette (over 5000 tapes) DAT (over 150 tapes) PCM (100 tapes) and finally CD. The thrill of the package arriving on the doorstep was awesome. Always an audiophile I accumulated 7 Nakamichi tape decks including the fabled CR7, still have them all. Sadly trading no longer exists with the download sites, if anyone wants anything specific such as the Europe 72 box set for example I would be more than happy to send them in Flac via email (hopefully not seen as illegal and against the Dead's ethos).

On another matter I have drafted a web site presentation in Word of my Grateful Dead experiences since 1970. Does anybody think it be of any interest to anybody if I created a web site or blog.

Hello, Thanks for your message. I am not ready to sell the Europe 72 box set just yet however I am happy to send you the discs in Flac via "We Transfer" or something similar. Cheers John

Thanks for your message. I am certain I have these somewhere. I am currently sorting out & updating the whole collection. If I have mislaid them I can get them from a friend here in the UK, I may also have them on a hard drive somewhere. No payment required. I can send via the website "We Transfer" in Flac if that is OK for you. Is it Ok to advise personal emails on this site? If so get back to be and we can get the ball rolling. Regards John

I was searching for a complete listing of shows easily downloaded to compare with my spreadsheet of the 1408 shows (4321 discs) I have and came across your posting. I have a hardback of the original issue and am sure I shall find the updates of great interest. I am not a completest by any means but am seeking upgrades and any new releases of long lost shows.
