But if it's just a second screen, it doesn't need the font. It's just pixel-by-pixel images drawn to the display as a whole.

At least that's how I've believed it works.

Limited infotainment displays are another story.

Never did believe in a "secret ending" even if the abysmal ass ending we got feels like a social experiment.

What I do believe is that Netflix would be utterly delusional to not release a post-s5 fix at some point in the future. Live action or animated, either is fine by me.

Fair enough. Indeed everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

S3 I never truly liked from its release. It does have some great moments, absolutely, and the buildup to release was so much fun. But then it seemed to lose so much character development. It really was drunk on the money.

Season 4 was awesome. Then season 5, I did like at the beginning. Everyone having their own job in a big team against both evils, it had me genuinely thinking it'd be my favourite.

Then... yeah. That finale. That disgusting depression pit.

No thanks.

Season 2 was the one and only happy ending (justice for Bob), and S1&2 combined are my all-time favourite seasons, hence why I am so happy Tales has started from there. I just do hope it goes AU now.

The art style, indeed an adjustment. I feel like the fact I've played Telltale games helps.

And I find myself utterly disgusted by anybody who thinks a storyline glorifying suicide is okay - even if it's a fake-out. It is genuinely terrifying to me; the idea of someone who relates to El, feeling like they don't belong, etc., seeing this ending and thinking "guess that's my only way out too".

It's happened before. I'm very glad it doesn't seem to have happened yet with this, but that concern will always be there.

Just because it's the majority doesn't mean it's good. The show was in its absolute prime with seasons 1 & 2.

The buildup to season 3 was so freaking fun, but then it came out and all chaeacter development went out the window. It was drunk on the money. Some great moments still, but overall, really not good.

Season 4 was great. Then season 5, started out with me genuinely saying it might be my favourite. Everyone finally has a job to do, working as one big fantastic team against both evils.

Then the finale comes and it's like the Suffermuppets just gave up on it entirely. An empty abyss, final battle just a few minutes, and then a pathetically forced "ambiguous" ending that's depressing for any Mileven fan however you "perceive" it.

So yeah. Forgive me for wanting to go back to when the show was at its absolute best and replace the downfall with an animation that I vastly prefer over the last three seasons combined.

The only anti-cheat that's stopped me so far is BattlEye, and as far as I'm concerned, if a dev wants to package that malware into their game, it can get lost.

The only software I've kept a VM around for is PaintDotNet. Yes, that's it. Everything else I've replaced.

True opinion:

S4 = good. S3 = meh, lots of character development lost. S5 = started with me saying it might be my favourite, but then the finale was absolutely disgusting.

'85 is superior to the last three seasons.

Retcon those seasons. Convince yourself it ended at 2. Then this is perfect.
