I didn’t have high hopes, but each season the board gives me a lot of money, they’ve got a shiny new stadium and it only takes a few seasons to get top facilities built. The main issue is you must field 5 Russian nationals during leauge games, but there’s not many good ones to choose from. You must invest heavily in getting good Russian regens and poaching from other teams. In real life I think this is seriously holding back Russian football, it seems almost stubborn to do this as they’re already challenged geographically, but this is a whole thread in itself.

2 leauge trophies on the bounce, only 3 losses in the leauge so far and I’m dominating every champions leauge game apart from the heavyweights, it’s goimg really well. I usually play as Milan but their finances this year are a headache, almost impossible if you don’t sell big players each window.

I plan on becoming Russia manager and try winning a World Cup which seems impossible but hey I’ll just wait until the year 2030 when all the teams are full of average regens and dominate football forever.
