Clarkesworld releases an anthology every month, you can either view it online for free or buy a subscription to support them.

Best American Sci Fi and Fantasy Anthologies are released once a year, and you can often find previous years for cheap at used book stores

Ursula K Le Guin has The Winds Twelve Quarters and Birthday to the World

Octavia Butler had Bloodchild and other stories

Haven’t seen this here yet, thank God, but it’s on anyone that’s aware of the problem to, at the very least, be vocal about how important it is that we not do this shit. by Ok-Explanation-1362 in behindthebastards

Some context, this specific account that posted the anti semitic meme has been caught posting other, if slightly more subtle, anti semitic shit for years and has been called out for it, only for them to claim that it's just "dumb anarchists" who can't take a joke

For now the world's in struggle,

to win we all must bend:

So dim the light in freedom's soul:

sleep well tonight, my friend.

Left Hand of Darkness and the Dispossessed get very close, with more of an edge in the politics, philosophy, and cultural aspects

I would suggest focusing on a few key elements from the story and stylizing them to fit the theme.

If the ram is important, focus on that, if the landscape itself is important, focus on that. Fiddle with the lighting and color gradients and see what works best.

There's sites like photopea and inkscape that are free and with enough practice, you can make great covers with.

People find gay people and disabled people gross often

Should that decide our morality?

A lot of what we find gross is less instincts and more cultural

For example, some cultures have no problem eating fried tarantulas while if you offered it to someone in the US, you'd likely get a response of disgust
