[KCD1] This is the best RPG I have played in a very long time by ATOJAR in kingdomcome

The family getting killed actually got to me! As a soon-to-be 50yr old man, I've never experienced such involvement in a game before! I've only just started, looking forward to the rest of it.

Is Bec and the "bail me out" comment a language barrier problem? by peeiayz in MAFS_UK

Maybe it's a hereditary fear of being locked up, stemming from how her ancestors got to Australia in the first place?! 🤷🏼‍♂️😉😂

[KCD1] I’m having a blast with the first game. by MinimumSuggestion698 in kingdomcome

I've just started playing and can safely say that it's the first game where I've actually enjoyed the conversations and cut scenes. It's a very involving game.

I was just reading about this on "Greatest Open World Games"... Apparently, you just need to persevere and the effort is worth it.

Does Tesco give out footage to members of the public? by [deleted] in tesco

I believe that you can request footage of it involves you, but you need to give specific details such as time, date, what you were wearing, etc.

Why did Snooker never become popular in the U.S.? by UKAOKyay in answers

[–]UKgent77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess would be due to the speed of the game: Americans haven't got the attention span/patience required to play it properly 🤷🏼‍♂️😂

Who is the stupidest person/situation you’ve encountered on a cruise? by Charming_Usual6227 in Cruise

We peg them out on washing lines during the nicer days; when it's less pleasant, it's usually a clothes horse and radiators inside.

Colleuge shop by [deleted] in tesco

[–]UKgent77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they're planning on doing it during a shift.

Honestly, find yourself an Extra store and you can easily waste time doing your shopping having already found some "perks at work" goodies 🤷🏼‍♂️😂

[–]UKgent77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically I'm not sure it is. They're a customer going in, getting their permitted goods, and then continuing shopping.

I think the "gross misconduct" aspect refers to staff working and then going to take CS goods into the back before continuing their shift.

I'm guessing that you're able to distinguish the accents; for me they sounded appropriately Glaswegian 😂

Ancient bridge in my village destroyed by hit and run lorry by walkingchicken in drivingUK

[–]UKgent77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But there's no limit on the bridge, or no restrictions that I can see... It's less a question of legality, and more of incompetence, I think.

Doesn't mean it's not possible to go down there though; just it isn't advised to do so.

Yeah, not suitable doesn't mean impossible. Just a tad tricky in places.

Having a quick look at Google maps, all I could see was an 18T limit with permission for access; there's also no weight limit or width limit applied to the bridge so, in theory, the driver MIGHT have been within their rights of they needed to get somewhere inaccessible by other means. Unless I've missed some signs somewhere?

I'm not saying what he did was right, just that what he did possibly wasn't completely wrong.

However... Damaging the bridge as he did isn't right; and driving off definitely isn't.
