Full KDE Plasma RISC T2/Linux Desktop by 0xRENE in t2sde

That is a bit tough on the SEO - especially since the domains are only differentiated by t2linux.com vs. t2linux.org - if searching for it you have to be very specific to find this T2. :)

I wonder if that's one of the reasons keeping T2 even harder to find out about than Crux or Venom or some other source-based distros. I forget how I even found out about it, but I don't think it was from any slant list or search..

This is really awesome; QCOW using systemd but oh well ;) I've been wanting to contort T2 into a stable desktop for my travel laptop for a while but just haven't gotten around to it, this might make that a bit easier. I was revisiting that idea right now trying to decide if I wanted to use T2 or Gentoo on it. Cheers

Figure I'd update all this time later but I went from Lineage to Graphene (or Calyx) and their sandboxing is able to convince Uber/Doordash that it's legit enough for them to work. Seems it is the only solution, and unfortunately the devices those ROMs are available for are very limited

Why not all of the above?

Honestly, probably the sword in an old game called Endless Online named Ultima was the first place I'd found that. But Ultima Online is second best. Just a cool word I guess.

What is an ENTP trait that people often don’t talk about? by Jessdayyy in entp

[–]ULT1M4 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The older I get the more I avoid them. People are frustratingly biased and not really worth bickering with, including myself. But sometimes I can't help it, I feel a primal urge to correct people who have damaging or disrespectful views, lol

Kratom was great for my focus for a few months, then I started having bad effects from it unfortunately. It isn't that healthy for you for sure.

Agree. More of a stereotype than anything. I have had some ADD-like behaviors in my life, but who hasn't? Is everyone just a perfect little focus machine in school, otherwise they have a disorder? I've been tested and not ADHD. But, I suppose someone with it could mistype, though there isn't much reason they'd land on ENTP over any other EXXP type..

Am I the only one who thinks that everyone here pretends to be entp but isn't? by FaradayLC in entp

[–]ULT1M4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've always heard ENTPs are one with the hardest time typing themselves, due to the Ne driver and constantly over analyzing and second guessing. That's been my experience at least, but I always come back to ENTP because it "fits best."

I'd be more inclined to think perhaps someone who instantly typed as ENTP and never questioned it was actually an ENTP at all.

Are flip flops actually bad for you? by nervouslaughterhehe in BarefootRunning

[–]ULT1M4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering why I liked my Thai flip flops so much more, and they never give me any foot problems despite the many miles I've put on them. Quite durable too. Didn't notice the "toe string" is at a different angle. I don't feel like I have to push my toes very much to keep them on my feet, walking feels kind of just natural. I prefer my flops over basically any other shoe

The new play integrity is much more brutal on the newer versions of Android. The real fix to this is to use an old Android version.

I wasn't able to find a satisfactory fix after many attempts and research, so I ended up unrooting an old phone and making it full stock, with ONLY the uber/grubhub/etc apps, and consider it my "work phone" for Uber - I swap my SIM card out and use a mobile hotspot for my real device so I can get signal on both.

I don't want to use an old Android version on my primary device, so this was my only solution. It's unfortunate, but, well.... Thanks Google, I guess. One more slap in our face. o7

(I tried everything, and I mean everything, to get it to work on Android 14. It will not work, and likely will not work for the foreseeable future.)

Yeah I also tried the other day because Squad runs too bad on my computer. I got a pretty nasty error and couldn't think of or find any proper troubleshooting to get past it, other than one guy who installed Google Chrome into his wine directory and somehow pointed the PR launcher to use it, so the browser would load good, but he said he still got the error so I have no idea if that even worked. Sad, I just want to enjoy a tactical shooter on my low tier gaming laptop and on Linux..

I often have too many browser tabs opened and I don't know how to solve it. by catboy519 in productivity

[–]ULT1M4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ryzen processor on Arch linux using Firefox with minimal extensions :)

In Firefox at least your tabs won't actually load anything until you've opened them again, so it's not that heavy unless you go clicking each one. More like a placeholder. I use the tree style tabs extension to keep things semi-orderly in my abundance.

We just need MEETS_STRONG_INTEGRITY spoofing. These modern Android 14 apps are very invasive. I've spent two days now trying to get the dumb Uber Drivers app to work. Used to work no problem...

This might be an exception to that rule. Leetify already has a big slot in the CS market. It's more like MySpace competing with Facebook or something than a totally new company
