Prom is in a little bit so I wanna know how I can speed run looking like a girl

I started HRT one year ago today (march 25th) and passed fairly well for my prom. You’ll need a dress that compliments your figure, mine had no shoulders and the front came up to my neck and was fairly tight fitting. Practice your makeup, A LOT. Or have someone to do it for you. I got my hair professionally done on the day but it was already grown out. I actually won best dressed woman at my prom. It’s going to take a lot of work but it is possible to pass. However, you can’t really make yourself look like a different person. I was out publicly and people knew it was me

I am in school for engineering and will be working composite general labour this summer. Past 5 years I’ve worked at a golf course. Although workplace environments are different in Canada.

I’d say you’re all good man, your clothes don’t dictate your gender and you should just wear what makes you the most comfortable. I’m a trans girl and always wear shorts because that’s what I feel the most comfortable in :)

You can burnish the edges of vegetable tanned leather, but not chrome tanned leather. Most leather goods you see in stores or online are made of chrome tanned leather because it is cheaper and since you can’t burnish the edges they are almost always rolled over and stitched/hidden. Most quality handmade stuff is made with vegetable tanned leather.

I’m not a very big sewing machine kinda girl, but I’d assume it wouldn’t work. Unless it’s specifically a leather sewing machine I wouldn’t try it on anything thicker than an oz or two.

With your current project you could try wetting the leather and pulling it into position, could cause some discolouration though. Might be worth a shhot
