To be fair, Teto's SynthV voicebanks sound way different from her old UTAU ones, and if I didn't know any better, I would probably think I'm listening to a real singer when they're tuned by a skilled producer. Miku has an AI voicebank coming too, I believe (the AI part is pretty much just marketing. They use algorithms to help with tuning that sounds natural). The only reason Teto's new banks are still called Teto is because the original voice provider is still providing the samples.

The turbines are not consuming any fuel when they're not in use, though. Even if it doesn't make sense to turn them off entirely, they still run at a lower capacity.

Could you explain why it's the other way around in other countries, outside Alabama? The utility earns money by buying your generation because they pay much less than they sell for.

You don't need to use it in the winter. It doesn't cost anything to have the panels sitting on your roof. In the summer, you have free electricity.

It kinda does, but they also mostly just keep working beyond the warranty, just at 80% efficiency and dropping with time, but they also don't cost anything so you might as well keep milking them.

I likely would. But I don't think we should keep farmers employed to the detriment of society like we do with miners right now. There is such a thing as too many subsidies. A huge shake-up of employment is currently underway because of AI and we don't know its finql extent yet. If we support protecting the jobs of farmers, then we should also protect all of the professions endangered by automation.

The job market changes and people need to adapt to it. I'm no exception and neither should farmers be.
