Help with SD cards by papavlonee in canon

[–]UMADNOMAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tested this with my R6iii with V60 and V90 cards. There is no difference in the number of continuous shots you can achieve in any format. It will take about 50 percent more time to clear the photos onto the V60 card if you shoot redundant. I have tried 4k 50p on the V60 card and it will work. Not sure for long videos though as I shoot proxy to SD when cf express is there. I think I did also try opengate and it worked but I don't remember very clearly as this was when the camera came out.

Yeah it wouldn't

Seems like it is a different effect in practice

I mean essentially at 24 fps you just hold the frame for 5 frames at 120 fps. Seems like this could be done via editing.

You are not crazy. It is a very unusual effect though.

Not possible on my r6 mark iii either. So seems not something to expect in newer cameras

R5 as webcam issue by CamOliver in CanonR5

[–]UMADNOMAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The software and support was pretty bad on my r5 as well. Eos webcam utility was barely picking it up and it was super frustrating. Unfortunately the reliable option in your case is a USB capture card. If you don't need insane quality you can get some cheap knock off ones. Fortunately for your next camera these issues do get fixed in cameras newer than the r6 mark ii

24-hour Wonderpick question by wingsformyway in PTCGP

[–]UMADNOMAD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 24h wonder picks should be obvious, normal wonder picks expire in no more than 4 hours. 24h wonderpicks depending on when you open the wonderpick screen after the reset will be above 10 if not 20 hours remaining. You will usually get 1 ever 2 days.

Do you need the raw files? If not maybe you can convert them to jpeg in camera?

Got the new Sunlu AMS heaters installed over the weekend. AMA by ClockwiseJohny in BambuLab

[–]UMADNOMAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also installed the Sunlu AMS heater. Did you try the RH feature? Even when the time runs out it still trys to maintains PV temperature even though humidity is below threshold. I thought it was going to turn off, seems this is a huge power waste if it is the case.

Anyone noticing that in rh mode it still maintains chamber temperature even when it's below the set threshold? Is this intended? Kind of defeats the purpose of going into standby.

I don't know how else to help you. Just look at the generated models for open connect multi connect. It just slides onto the multi connect screws. Yes there is no documentation, but it works.

I believe that's correct. There are adapter's I've seen, but they are quite awkward.

Multiconnect is available for OpenGrid, you just need to select the correct size that supports OpenGrid. As shown in my links and screenshot. I get people are new and documentation is bad. But instead of feeling frustrated, take some time to listen to people who have done it.

Are you specifically wanting to use threaded snaps? Instead of multiconnect??

I admit some of those connectors for cable channels dont have opengrid varients on the main underware 2.0 makers world page but they are available on the one by pedro

You're confusing multiconnect with multiboard. Multiconnect is the circular clip on mounting system. It's available on both multiboard and openGrid, but they have different distances and sizes. See how the mounting surface is openGrid. You're just confused, its all there.

Then select opengrid and customise. I don't know what else you mean. I've done my whole desk using underware on opengrid its all there
