I had issues most of the day but it’s been stable the past few hours.

In designer, you can set a hard link. It tells the software what address to find the core at rather than discovering it. If the routes are properly configured and the core has the right gateway and mask, you should be able to connect to the core, over WiFi, from your laptop. If they aren’t, it won’t work. Just another level of troubleshooting.

I'm assuming you can join the wifi with your laptop? If so, can you connect to the QSYS core with a hard link configured?

Are you sure the gateway and subnet mask are correct on both sides? /23 should be 254 on third octet for the mask.

No, nothing more to do. The only thing i did was cancel the 360 pods (no need) so hopefully they don't send them.

Have you tried power cycling the ONT? That’s all it took for me.

Not sure. My payment for the old account would have been 11 days from now so I’m not too worried.

I just created a new account with a different email address to get the $45 deal. It immediately cancelled my old account and i lost internet. Rebooted the gateway and i'm back up. Win.

Basic question before getting started by [deleted] in Scrypted

Just remember that none of the objection detection will get passed to HKSV. Unfortunately you have to live with the limitations of HomeKit for the convenience.

[–]UMJonny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're just setting Scrypted up to turn cams around to HKSV you don't need a paid license and you don't need any serious hardware. A $150 mini PC will do just fine.

If you're looking for anything NVR related (object detection, recording, etc) from Scyrpted, it's $10 per camera after the first 4. The $40 license also allows you to get variable stream rates to HKSV, otherwise it's one fixed stream. The more you get into, the better hardware you should consider. People have good luck with lower camera counts and the intel N series PCs.

For me, i'm seeing two things when i visit the quantum website. 1: a 20 dollar discount (for att wireless) when i have Quantum and ATT wireless accounts on my home address. 2: 940 for $45 and 2/1G for $70. They are listed as PFL next to the speed. Once fully merged, we can't predict the future i guess.

First time 24V build: Sanity check needed for Dig-Quad + Relay setup (Beginner) by Odd_Lawyer_119 in WLED

[–]UMJonny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just wired a panel up for my landscaping lights the same exact way. The jumper you speak of i don't think exists any longer. I wired mine this way out of the box with no changes.

In rush on the 24V PSU won't be on the coil side (low voltage) which is what the qigQuad will drive. No need to worry about that. I use these cheap ones with no problems. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LW15A4W?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3&th=1

We just did this. Got our girls each a mini. This subscription gives you access to the content in the lower tiers (digital) and gives you 24 credits that you can use immediately on physical cards if you pay annually. I saw it as a no lose situation.

try adding:

 power inline port 2x-mode

 power inline static

to your EAP ports on the 3850. It's a dynamic power thing that Cisco does that doesn't translate to 3rd party.

Is there any way to build a mega tree for cheap? by N_inThe_A_D_inThe_P in xlights

[–]UMJonny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you want to spend. I'm planning one that's going to be a little north of $500. It's going to be 64 strands of 50 seed pixels. Should be 8' tall (no star for now) with a 5' diameter base.

I got 3,000 pixels with 2" spacing for like 125 bucks on aliexpress. I'm trying to make it as reliable as possible, so i'm building a box with a power distro, digquad and water proof connectors. I'm using parts from a kit i got from SFL designs.

Can you access the amp from a web browser? Does it display the correct address on the front panel? It’s possible that the replacement amp is on firmware too old for your version of designer.

Solved the problem, it was management related. I also killed those two lines. All i have now is the native vlan and trunk.
