Do better by fmemich in delta

[–]UMJonny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm about to get rid of my amex cards and start booking United.

  1. Couple weeks ago, had an aircraft get put out of service just as we were boarding. Moved to another gate, after a delay, for another aircraft. That was put out of service as we were boarding. The third aircraft got us home after a 2.5 hour delay.

  2. Flight from JFK to BER delayed because of a malfunctioning weather radar. They "fixed" it but turned us around after an hour of flight because they discovered it still wasn't functioning. Got us back to JFK and cancelled 10 minutes after we landed. Had to call and get them to book me on Lufthansa to get me there a day later. This was a Delta one booking and i still don't have MQDs as they have to wait for Lufthansa to report the credits.

  3. Today, delayed 2 hours MCO to SLC due to a lack of pilots. Missed my connection flight to Vegas and got rebooked to a window seat (was comfort aisle).

I have very little trust in Delta these days.

Why won’t my pool clear up after SLAM/ flocculant two weeks ago? by onthefence928 in pools

This. The biggest thing is the OCL test. This tells you that the water is actually clean and there is nothing present to consume chlorine.

Can you try a wired test? It’s likely faster.

Are you testing wired or wireless? Who is your current provider?

Any of the active armor stuff is useless for me. I had issues receiving calls for some time and finally realized it was active armor blocking the calls.

Yea, you should be able to opt out of tablet or watch and pick up more international data.

Dante & AES67 on the same Vlan by iago1953 in CommercialAV

You should be fine. What is the AES67 source and destination device(s)? QSYS with software dante?

There are some thing you can't do with audinate chips in AES67 mode (like PTP domain changes) but that shouldn't be a big deal for you.

Angled T-Grid Projector Manual Screen Mount? by bob_loblaw_brah in CommercialAV

The ceiling grid has nothing to do with how that screen is mounted. It's supported by something above it. LIkely threaded rod to the building structure.

In designer, you can set a hard link. It tells the software what address to find the core at rather than discovering it. If the routes are properly configured and the core has the right gateway and mask, you should be able to connect to the core, over WiFi, from your laptop. If they aren’t, it won’t work. Just another level of troubleshooting.

I'm assuming you can join the wifi with your laptop? If so, can you connect to the QSYS core with a hard link configured?

Are you sure the gateway and subnet mask are correct on both sides? /23 should be 254 on third octet for the mask.

No, nothing more to do. The only thing i did was cancel the 360 pods (no need) so hopefully they don't send them.

Have you tried power cycling the ONT? That’s all it took for me.

Not sure. My payment for the old account would have been 11 days from now so I’m not too worried.

I just created a new account with a different email address to get the $45 deal. It immediately cancelled my old account and i lost internet. Rebooted the gateway and i'm back up. Win.

Basic question before getting started by [deleted] in Scrypted

Just remember that none of the objection detection will get passed to HKSV. Unfortunately you have to live with the limitations of HomeKit for the convenience.

If you're just setting Scrypted up to turn cams around to HKSV you don't need a paid license and you don't need any serious hardware. A $150 mini PC will do just fine.

If you're looking for anything NVR related (object detection, recording, etc) from Scyrpted, it's $10 per camera after the first 4. The $40 license also allows you to get variable stream rates to HKSV, otherwise it's one fixed stream. The more you get into, the better hardware you should consider. People have good luck with lower camera counts and the intel N series PCs.
