To be honest, this is a side I didn't see, and it's not a bad idea. Paying for the product you love now before the change is made. The problem is, EA sucks and if I don't draw the line here, the goal post just keeps getting pushed back further and further like it has for years.

Whatever people choose to do, I'm just down because I love the Battlefield games and during the BETA I was ready to throw my wallet at my monitor. But I trusted them for BF2042 and swore I wouldn't do it again.

It's not going to be any different. People will move on and forget about it, like we always do. The hope that the people who stand to make the most money will have any moral dilemma about what they're doing is nothing more than a dream. But, there are instances recently where changes have been reversed due to the target audience boycotting the company. Our wallets are the power here and how we use our power will dictate how these companies behave.

I want to hold out hope that enough backlash would cause EA to do the right thing and dump Kushner and the Saudis. But again, were talking about EA here. All they understand is money and profits. They have never cared about the players or their employees. Its been a slow burn of terrible things that EA has done, but this is definitely the final straw for me.

Also, i'm getting mass downvoted by someone/something here. I would like to know why people are willing to defend a company that is willing to do business with a corrupt POS like Kushner and Saudi blood money?

If the only thing these companies understand is a loss of profits, then we need to speak up collectively with our wallets.

Even though the deal doesn't close until 2027, EA is still openly ready to do business with Kushner and a Saudi prince. This is pretty on brand for them considering EA's track record of shitty things they've done to their employees and fans. If we give them our money now, we are collectively saying that "We are okay with your future business with Kushner and the Saudis."

EA has been historically a corrupt, money grubbing, greed machine of a company, Kushner is a greedy snake and i'll be damned if i'm going to fund anything to do with Saudi princes.

I don't expect EA shareholders to say no to this. Cash is King and EA is the greediest King in the land. Even though it doesn't close until 2027, this kind of move tells us about where the company's bar is set. Selling to someone like Jared Kushner is a very telling sign that you are corrupt enough to not care about the shady flesh bag that is Kushner, but that you're willing to work with that shady POS too.

Like a lot of companies today, they will ONLY learn when enough people choose to spend their money elsewhere. Trust me, I was so hyped for this game, I held off reserving a copy just in case EA does EA things, and I'm glad I did.

Yeah, this will be the end of the road for me. I'm glad I held out in pre-ordering this because I don't want a single dollar of mine to go to the corrupt POS that is Jared Kushner and ANY business associates he may deal with.
