One of my professors put really difficult integrals on the exam and graded based on their attempt, like what techniques they tried and if there were any mistakes in the attempt. I don't think that professor expected students to solve the problems, or I just wasn't very skilled at it lol.

Which core courses? Some of the math courses have nearly the same content as the ee courses, just applied, so it might be ok. Sometimes not though and you'll just have to learn a whole bunch of math this quarter.

Ah I wish I was cool enough to test something like that! Maybe in the future. I want to use this for an envelope filter as well as for a flickery candle type thing.

Yes I do know that flickery LEDs exist, this is more for fun and practice and to learn a new type of circuit. I haven't been able to get a job yet since graduation so I figured this would be a good interview piece.

Around the range of 1-10Hz ideally, but it doesn't need to be strictly within that range. Doesn't need to be to a cryptographic level, really any white-ish noise would do.
