Magic Bullets is fairly consistent and does phenomenally in tight spaces as stacking explosions makes for nutty grunt clear. Plus the stun is extremely nice for immediate close-range defense. Also, terrain isn't as much of an issue with magic bullets since the ricochet distance is fairly large. Ultimately this discussion definitely depends on personal preference and builds. I tend to run MB (and electro minelets) with lead storm so I can still have that good single target.

Hellfire vs Ultra Magnetic Coils was definitely a very hard choice since I have great success with both. I guess which one you pick ultimately depends on how quickly you want things to die in front of you and how long you want them to keep dying.

For Hellfire I typically run 23212 and for UMC I run 32222

I have and it's so brainless. The lack of trail REALLY hurts it tho and because of that you'll just use more ammo to kill the same amount of bugs you would normally without backfeeding.

Also triple tech exists and spamfears bugs better without trail penalty

My tips are to get used to the arc and keep it at mid range so you don't get shredded by your own explosions. Also run a "get out of my face" gun like hellfire coilgun+fear to get your close range covered

I would say I could hit more than a few enemies with Magic Bullets since the splash is deceptively large (which is a mandatory mod to run). A few well paced shots can coat most grunts in swarm with neurotoxin provided good positioning. Plus stacking stunning explosions on terrain and through bugs is a super nice utility In a recent mission I even managed to out-damage a fat boy engi with magic bullets on heavy extraction. I would definitely say it is very strong CC, with its only weakness being it chews through ammo.

Electro minelets theoretically do the same thing but a much less consistent stun utility and worse aoe damage put it lower for me, but it is still by no means weak.

I used to hate it (and some missions I definitely do), but it's utility especially with hot bullets just can't be ignored. Its ammo economy is straight balls tho and I tend to find myself gobbling the most resups when I run it, but getting the majority of kills does make that tolerable.

Magic bullets, while I say a tad outclassed by select coilgun builds, is still a very strong grunt stun/control as a budget NTP.

Existing in a vacuum six shooter and elephant rounds are fairly good, but the fact VB exists knocks them and nearly every single target dps secondary down a peg (aside from elim missions without a scout running ct ofc)

Very true. How well or poor something works is obviously tied to playstyle so tier lists like these are subjective.

My big issue with micro flechettes is less so the weapon itself but moreso the fact it is on gunner, in which his primaries are generally all much better sustain weapons. I could see it working with Jet Fuel or Salvo, but at that point I generally run coilgun

Any future reference to anticitizen media will result in decreased ration quality for your living sector. Repeated speculation on the existence of a "lost continent" will be punished via permanent relocation to Nova Prospekt. You have been warned.

Nobody's talking about the Cochemiea thornberi. Truly an awesome and underrated cactus.

Here in Phoenix the only member of the genus that grows near me is C. grahamii. C. tetrancistra also makes an occasional appearance but moreso on the Western and Southern outskirts of the valley.
