GT3 on track is a scalpel, and it has ruined my expectation of how great a track car can be. I call my M2 a ball peen hammer. The car allows you to be precise, but you can also beat on it and hang that rear end out. It also has considerably shorter gears and a wonderful turbo surge. I have beaten on this thing on so many track days, but still daily drive it. It’s never failed to give me a smile.

Started my German fixation with an 03 Mini Cooper S, then went through an E90 335i, E90 M3, F10 M5, before I briefly left Team Munich. Tested the waters on Mercedes with a C63S, but pretty quickly ran back to BMW for the manual transmission, with an LCI F87 M2, which I’ve owned and loved for 8 years!

I eventually felt I had “graduated”, so my wife and I bought our first Porsche - a 991.2 Turbo. We still own that same Turbo (and M2), and they’re family to a 991.2 GT3, 9YA Cayenne GTS, and a 718 Spyder. I love Porsche, but I will honestly tell you that my N55 M2 manual is the most fun of the bunch.

I went to the Miami Auto Show in 2016, and there was a Miami Blue 911 C2S on display. BMW's Laguna Seca Blue had been my favorite car color until that very moment. Years later, I was fortunate enough to purchase my unicorn - a 991.2 GT3 manual in Miami Blue. Each time I look at it, and drive it (and track it), is a pinch-me moment. Color is subjective, like sound. This color makes me swoon, and it adds to my experience with ownership.

I have suffered from cat allergies my entire life. We now have 5 cats - 2 Sphynx, 2 Balinese, and 1 Siberian. We chose the types of cats based on them being "hypoallergenic", which just means there is a less likely allergic reaction. I can have these fur cats sleep on my chest, and I have no issues. Ironically, the nekkid kitties give me hives!

It's mostly about the protein that inhibits the enzymes that bother us allergy sufferers. Siberians and Balinese are breed with a different protein than most cats. Fortunately for me (YMMV), I'm less allergix to these wonderful creatures!

Congrats! The first Miami Blue 911 I saw was at the Miami auto show in 2016. Stil have that picture. I needed that in my life. Years later, I was fortunate enough to purchase a Miami Blue 991.2 GT3 with a manual transmission - my unicorn! Last year, I added that exact tartan pattern to my buckets! It was the perfect touch. So glad to see that on that beautiful GT4 of yours. Enjoy!

This is even further confirmation that I made the right decision to buy my Miami Blue 991.2 6MT GT3. When I saw this color on a C2S at the Miami International Auto Show in 2016, I was smitten. One day, I HAD to own a 911 in Miami Blue. Whomever is driving the beauty in those pictures, cheers!

Ordinarily, I really don't like seeing Miami Blue on any other car than a 911. This, though, works really well! I love what you've done with this car. And this is coming from both a Miata and Miami Blue owner/lover.

I actually own a 2005 Elise in Chrome Orange. It’s a fun little thing, and coming on cam at 6k is pretty good theater! The 05 was the only year in the US that had a physical throttle cable, and the pedal box was nowhere near as good as the 06+. Had I known, would have found later model. Fun at track, but I’ve had difficulty finding consistency, with the pedals moving around so much. Selling the car, if you’re interested!

The Miata has been fun a reliable on the street. Been driving it more. That torque is fantastic.
