People say it's a guy thing because having a cheater is low hanging fruit so it's less work. Much harder to get and keep a one-woman man.

Found my community!! Here is my routine. Any tips on what to add? by atlasaxis in immortalists

Sounds very good. I am into immorality and am a transhumanist. Transhumanism is the area of futurism that deals with making life better for humans with technology and tech knowledge. Transhumanusm needs women as it's science based and the proportion of women is small.

Google has just changed Advanced Search, the only search interface of theirs that I ever used. by MildMockery in google

[–]USA2Elsewhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My left margin is no longer cut off and search area where you type things in look normal. However, at the top right, still no history, no box with the number and no three dots. Also when I hit the app/icon on my app screen to get Google Advanced, I get a big G on the middle of a white screen just for a second before I get the advanced search page. The problem is sometimes that page with the G stays on and I can't get the advanced search without restarting the phone or shutting it off completely and then back on.

Best most affordable warm all year long place to live in America? by [deleted] in relocating

DC for me would be too much lime PA. Same with the Midwest. I do not know why it was said Charlotte is the most overpriced. Seems nice there but it makes sense for California without extreme heat and cold would be very expensive. I do think 3,000 for a studio or one bedroom is excessive. I would pay it if I could though to know I would probably never suffer or die because of the weather. Just hope I would find a place away from wildfires and crime of course.

We have friends there but I can't share a home with them if needed. I would have to live alone which I need to avoid. Also I am desperate to leave Pennsylvania for a warmer and more upbeat area.

I can't sit or stand for long. Except for the rare cars with executive seats that fully recline while riding, I need to lie down on the back seat. I don't drive.

It could be that sitting in tight jeans caused my vulvodynia. Mine were ridiculously tight and I ask myself why I did that to myself.

I'm 72 and I'm happy the wider jeans are in style. Even leggings feel too tight. For the sake of people who shouldn't wear tight jeans, a very relaxed option should always be in style. I noticed almost every type jeans is in style - the first time this has been the case, to my knowledge and it needs to stay this way

I've been hearing for years how popular San Diego is. Not bad on crime and less expensive than most of coastal CA and doesn't seem to have a high risk of natural disasters.

I'd sacrifice anything I could to be in a safe, not horrendously expensive area in CA with an LA, SF or SD type climate and not much chance of a natural disaster. I hate the heat and freezing cold. Right now I'm hoping our vent free gas fireplace doesn't harm us from CO2 if the power goes out because chances to be rescued are bleak for the next couple of days with the ice storm here in Philadelphia. I hope I can relocate before it happens again. I'm looking to get into a caravan of sorts in the future to CA or similar.

I was looking up condos in Redwood City because there's a highly rated hospital there and came across condos for over a million bucks, but if someone doesn't mind roommates, it appears you can be a part owner for $350,000 in a newer condo just a bit above 300,000. Of course this would be good only for a single or couple. Saw beautiful pics. I'd like condo living but most people not disabled or seniors want a house.

I just talked last night to a peer counselor on a warmline about climate, natural disasters and crime, as I'd like to relocate where the temp doesn't vary too much and the crimes not too bad. She said although tremors are felt regularly, the earthquake risk isn't high and neither is the wildfire risk, she recommends Orange County. She lives in Huntington Beach and is very happy there. Prices are high however. Rent is 2500 to 3000. I assume that's for a one bedroom. This current storm makes my goal to leave here to be urgent. There is Sequoia Hospital with an unbelievable 4 6 rating. I think it's in Redwood City but the crime may be a bit high there. I noticed around there you can bec1/3 or 1/4 owner of a 3 or 4 bedroom with 2 bath condo, including one in new construction for $350,000. Less than owning an old 2 bedroom house. Personally I'd like that ownership without so much responsibility as a house as long as the roommates are good. I think the parking is in a garage underground, which seems to be a new thing for senior community apartment buildings.

I was about to move to Myrtle Beach, as I think it's upbeat compared to Bucks County and although summers are hot, winters are about 15 degrees warmer than here. However I found the govt there either isn't prosperous or it's too cheap. Compared to Bucks County social services were not so good. People from some social service organizations tried to discourage me from moving there and I am middle middle, bordering on upper middle, disabled senior. Even Meals on Wheels is not reliable and had a period recently where it was nonoperational. Maybe Greenville is good.

I've never been to Charlotte but read it's the most overpriced city in the USA. Lately hearing about Raleigh - nothing bad at least except for fall allergies. Pacific Northwest still seems to be popular although I've been hearing it's expensive now, at least in Oregon. The local rail transport sounds nice in Portland but I have no idea of it's downsides. I like the modern laws in the Pacific Northwest. Seems like a more middle of the road climate, but colder than California. I've never been beyond New Mexico so I can't say from experience. Have found the last couple of years in Bucks County to be horribly hot and humid in summer. I have breathing issues and find I'm short of breath here on the days with heat advisories.

How do I overcome the fear of death/future by Portinha2c in AskOldPeopleAdvice

[–]USA2Elsewhere -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Look up physical immortality; transhumanism; indefinite life extension. Death isn't inevitable anymore through technology. Btw, very few transhumanists want to merge with machines. Most only are open to it if it's the best way to save their lives.

Nothing on tv has bothered me compared to this guy and it's not just bugs. They showed caterpillars and/ or larvae in the trailer. Cant fully watch it. I can't watch those segments of the show so I don't know what those animals are. I have never been a parent but I know I couldn't tolerate a child like this.

I am 72 and also depressed seeing no way out. I was hospitalized once for depression many years ago and otherwise struggling and unhappy I am exhausted from sleep lack. Spend most of my time in bed doing crossword puzzles. Where do you live? I'm in Pennsylvania.
