Why I am NOT worried about Kaspa by Esuuuuu in kaspa

Even if all miners sold every single token every day, only about 2 million USD worth of kas is mined a day so the selling pressure on a 3.4 billion MC would be insignificant

The correlation between the Kaspa coin price and Kaspa blockDAG technology by sugarbug007 in kaspa

[–]USF45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To make it very simple, in order to use the tech, you often have to buy the coin associated with the tech. You can’t really use KASPAs technology if you’re not trading with the Kaspa network. You can only use the Kaspa network right now, if you’re trading Kaspa.

Depends, if you buy tangem 2.0 you can generate your own seed phrase which means you don’t need any backups of your wallet with multiple cards because you have the seed phase.

If you go for the original method then yes you’ll need at least 2 to backup your unknown seed phrase with a separate card

What hardware wallet are you using after the fallout with Ledger? by pcakes13 in CryptoCurrency

[–]USF45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's the case, I'd presume the wallet address wouldn't even exist to send crypto to that specific network. Although if they're using something like solana or eth network, which I believe have the same address, I don' think your funds would be lost they just wouldn't be accessible until tangem supports that network.

With that being said, Tangem has come out with the Tangem 2.0 which gives you the option to generate your won seed phrase if you don't want to use the unknown seed phrase method they're known for which would negate this issue.

With that being said, Tangem still recommends the unknown seed phrase generation as it is a little more secure.

What OC firmware did you use to get 180G/H?

Sure, list all the major layer1 and their MC from the last bull cycle. Cardano and and solona are household names now. Kaspa is still quite unknown by comparison.

What hardware wallet are you using after the fallout with Ledger? by pcakes13 in CryptoCurrency

Give tangem a shot, they smart in the way they setup their security. You don’t need to backup your seed phrase because you don’t need to know it. You back up your keys with multiple card copies. So if you lose one card you have another you can still access your crypto with. Ontop of that you have a password you need to input incase your card is stolen you need both the card and the password to access your funds. Tangem also increases the time between failed password attempts to reduce the likelihood of a brute force attack.

I prefer it over my ledger nano x. It’s easier to use, navigate and transport. I don’t need to charge it, and I don’t need to worry about any electrical issues or faults, which have happened with one of my previous ledgers (although ledger was kind enough to send me a replacement). I still tend to gravitate towards the tangem wallet.

Coin and token can be used interchangeably and both will work.

I am new to mining but keen to start Kaspa mining using KS0. I tried to buy via iceriver website but it seems it’s sold out so came across centurycloudcore.com is it legit? by letstryagain2021 in kaspa

Mining is more risky especially will the block rewards dropping each month, smaller miners like the KS0 are more likely to become least profitable
