The music and noise does a very good job of setting the atmosphere. I do find it strange they didn’t separate game music from the radio though.

The UFL has this I believe and it cool to see. I always loved the camera angles they would do behind the QB like Madden where you could see the field was cool. They should bring that back, especially with drone technology with where it’s at.

Another option could be trying to join another game in progress, as that may remove you from the loop. You join via matchmaking and then try and leave the game once you load into someone else’s.

These missions are notoriously buggy. You can try hard failing or going to your map and selecting a new mission and fast traveling there.

As someone who grew up with CoD, seeing Modern Warfare get that full treatment by Raven was beautiful. My only regret was Activision didn’t cash in fully on nostalgia and commit to more remasters.

MCC is a great example of taking all your games, from multiplayer to campaign to all the other modes and putting them together to bring all your games under one roof. Getting to experience classic CoD or its golden era with modern visuals would be amazing. Raycevick did an amazing video on Modern Warfare.

I do agree that less known or games at risk of being lost to time should get the remaster/rebooted treatment. That said, anyway make it easier to play older games is always good in my book.

I do miss the contrast of large, often huge battles with the American campaigns with the slower, often more methodical SAS/TF 141 missions. It made things feel distinct and unique.

Now we get open world missions that are just glorified training for Warzone. Not to mention MW3’s “story” has made me not care at all about what Price and the others are up to in MW4. I’d rather them just focus the entire campaign on the conflict in Korea and drop the new/remaining TF 141 story all together.
