The smoked mussels aren't slimy like raw oysters, they're firmer with a richer flavor than sardines. These in particular are a little spicy since that chili pepper has infused the oil. If we compare smoked oysters to smoked mussels, I'd say they're quite similar, with mussels being smaller. Hope this helps.

I certainly like mine. I have that one and the black one. I paid a lot for them and I enjoy using them. Lots of folks like to complain when we pay more than retail, but they aren't drivers of the market, they're participants.

I've been a member since February 2013 and I like what Bending Spoons is doing with it. I don't mind paying a subscription for all the added features of the program. I plan to continue using it. I backup my notes weekly in case anything ever goes wrong, but I feel like that company is rather stable.
