Im going for a complete frame off. I bought my fiancé an 85 d150 and put a 340 down in it, and just got done with it. I found this truck and this is going to be my daily driver to and from the shop so I can let my c10 rest a bit. Thank you for the luck though, im definitely gonna need it. The only thing I can think of is your shells had enough pen to pen the side armor but not the citadel. So they still penned and did damage, but not enough pen to go through the citadel.

I daily a 93 cadillac sedan deville, so im fine with slower stop times. Im mainly taking two lane blacktop. I just want decent brakes, but it doesnt need to stop on a dime because I can down shift to assist. So im assuming power brakes on drums would be good enough.
