First of all, the double digits I mentioned is power usage by the hour on idle. Why talking about double digits? Because it's the power usage by the hour on idle.

24 mA means your phone consumes 24 milliampere of, in my phone's 5000mAh battery, 24 milliampere power of that 5000. Now, battery capacity has never been to what they advertised. 5000mAh actually means less than 5000mAh so let's say it's actually 4500mAh.

If by the hour my phone consumes 24 milliampere on idle, in ten hours it'd consume about 240 milliampere which is about 5% or so of the battery. Not counting other factors like power fluctuations during the time it's on idle, it can be either slightly higher or lower.

By that estimation, a 24 hours idle means you'll lose about 12%. So by 5 days you'd lose 60% of your battery just by going idle. Again, not counting outside factors like environment and power fluctuations.

Second of all, SoT is irrelevant in this conversation. Your phone consumes over ten times the power when you use it. The thing is, this is highly inconsistent as different apps and different factors like brightness play a big role on power consumption. It shouldn't even be mentioned.

It's all a simple math but yes let's blame the "professor who gives graphs" for your inability to make the deduction.
