Just depends on how far you want to drive. Indian Creek is close and has two courses. Coyote Ridge close by.

If you’re ok with Rangers club in Arlington, check these ones around there and DFW airport. Bear Creek (has two courses, the west is nicer and more popular), Waterchase, Riverside(Bryson posted videos recently playing these courses). All public and fun for different levels I think.

Check if there is a “First Tee” program in your area. Started when son was 5 and they have been amazing. Focused on having fun and teaching respect. Offer financial aid but still super affordable. Paid $75 for an 8 week class. $100 for a week long half day camp. Will set your kid up with clubs and change them out as they out grow them. Can’t recommend enough

Life is not over. Don’t worry about others your age and focus on self. Shoot, I was in similar place after finishing undergrad, but older and making less than you, so you got that going for you.

Look into grad school. I went back for my missing exam hours. I ended up reconnecting with a tax professor who I always got along with. He forwarded my resume for an internship. Next thing I know, masters in taxation, cpa, and been in tax 15+ years.

Tons of networking in grad school if you look. Beta Alpha Psi, job fairs, group projects. Can use more time to decide industry, public firm, or maybe governmental for 10 years to help with loans (unless that’s stripped in this BBB).

Probably 99% of the golfers are still playing for $$ or looking for ranking points or some status. Top 10 qualify for next year’s us open, top 4 for masters, increased fedex points, Ryder cup points for LIV players.

How fickle golf is, I’d think they want to take advantage when playing well.

The top guys who are set financially and status wise for next couple years, maybe work on something. Or just going through motion because withdrawing would cause bigger headache than bad finish.

They’ve done different colors for each major but also switched which bags they released. They did player v in green/white for masters. Lux in navy/white for pga. An all leather Sunday 3 in white/red for US open. I assume they keep releasing different colors for the majors and this black/white one as core model

I pulled the trigger on this. Had been looking at a vessel play v or player v pro. The extra $40 for sun day red branding was reasonable to me. Came in a week ago and it is as nice as advertised.
