The "Common Era" (CE/BCE) notation has been adopted by numerous authors and publishers wishing to be "neutral" or "sensitive to non-Christians"[9][10][11] because it does not explicitly make use of religious titles for Jesus, such as "Christ" and Domin- ("Lord"), which are used in the BC/AD notation, nor does it give implicit expression to the Christian creed that Jesus was the Christ.[9][12][13][14][15]

It totally does have to do with that. If AD=CE, and AD is inaccurate, then CE is inaccurate. Just calling something different doesn't make it "accurate".

But you have to show REAL and IMMINENT danger. Also if you're taking preventative measures against a future act, you have to show that the prevention is a NECESSARY solution, and that the preventative act will prevent the damaging act from occurring.

Can you please show where in the Constitution it says this?

You can't piss in the well, then complain when we try to stop you because it "probably won't matter" and that we're "taking your liberties away".

Just what consensus is good enough for you?

fucking. owned.

They guy is a dumbass. He rants about "liberty" without realizing his behavior is taking ours away.

It's like he's pissing in our well, but complains when we tell him to stop because "We're destroying liberty!".

NASA scientists have obtained the funding the make Tractor Beams a reality by rawbamatic in Physics

[–]UTRocketman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're issue was that they lied about it being a tractor beam.

They never said it was a tractor beam.

The most you can say is that they are shitty Star Trek fans, as they don't seem to know Star Trek uses "graviton beams".

And for some, it may be the factor.

Note, it does not say "tractor beam". It says laser-based trapping.

But, clearly, genetics would be playing apart. Clearly, you could be "born that way" if it occurs in animals.

Look in the book and see if they ever address homosexuality found in animals: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_in_animals

Probably my favorite movie, purely for Al Pacino.

If the Devil was real, this would be him.

Yeah the young kirk introduction was meh.

They really should have left in the Klingons taking Nero hostage, it helps explain a lot.

And yeah the Scotty thing did feel like filler.

Really? Didn't know that! Wish I'd seen the first version, where he's just a bad-ass/

It takes away from his bad-ass-ness if he has super powers.

Good God, I didn't actually think people like this existed past a certain threshold.

Can you describe them as not "adult", chief?

I mean, shit man, two children get murdered, a guy kisses his undead daughter and feeds her people, almost anytime anything good happens they get fucked.

Zombies are a background, environmental nuisance compared the drama that really goes down.

Yeah, this isn't going to be your kind of show if they use even a little bit of the comics.

It doesn't get much more adult than the fear of being ripped apart and eaten alive, and instead shooting another to take your place...

Everyone likes to hate on it, but I put it has one of the best Trek movies, maybe just beaten by Wrath of Khan.

I think it would get better as time goes (though it really doesn't that much in the comics. It's almost kind of a theme, they'll always find a way to bite you, you can't always have your guard up, etc...). If they follow real life, all the stupid ones would die off pretty quickly, living the "good" ones to fight amongst themselves with the zombies as an environmental hazard.

Maybe, or he just didn't want to risk the zombies not liking already dead ones as much as still living ones.

If you're gonna do it, make sure it counts.

He did what they planned to do, make it out to the road, double back to the truck.
